This page is to share the benefits of all natural essential oils with my friends, family and others. I started using the oils after hearing how a friend had benefitted from them. I originally thought I would only use lavender, lemon, and peppermint. I am amazed every day how these oils benefit my family. They are 100% all natural with no added ingredients. I use them to clean our home, I am changing my beauty routine, sleeping better, and even using them in caring for our dog all with natural products. GUIDELINES FOR THE SAFE USE OF YOUNG LIVING ESSENTIAL OILS.

1. Always keep a bottle of V-6 Vegetable Mixing Oil, Massage Oil Base or any pure vegetable oil handy when using essential oils. Vegetable
oils dilute essential oils if they cause discomfort or skin irritation.
2. Keep bottles of essential oils tightly closed and store them in a cool location away from light. If stored properly, essential oils will maintain
their potency for many years.
3. Keep essential oils out of reach of children. Treat them as you would any product for therapeutic use.
4. Do not use essential oils rich in menthol (such as peppermint) on the throat or neck area of children under 30 months of age.
5. Direct sunlight and essential oils. Lemon, bergamot, orange, grapefruit, tangerine, White Angelica and other citrus oils may cause a rash
or darker pigmentation if applied to skin exposed to direct sunlight or UV rays with 3 to 4 days of use.
6. Keep essential oils away from eye area and do not put into ears. Do not handle contact lenses or rub eyes with essential oils on fingers. Oils with high phenol content – oregano, helichrysum, cinnamon, thyme, clove. Lemongrass, bergamot, Thieves and ImmuPower – may
damage contacts and irritate eyes.
7. Pregnant women should consult their health care professional before using essential oils containing constituents with hormone-like activity,
such as clary sage, sage, Idaho tansy, juniper and fennel.
8. Epileptics and those with high blood pressure should consult their health care professional before using essential oils. Avoid using hyssop,
fennel and Idaho tansy oils.
9. People with allergies should test a small amount of oil on a small area of sensitive skin, such as the inside of the arm, before applying the
oil on other areas. The bottom of the feet is one of the safest, most effective places to use essential oils.
10. Before taking GRAS (Generally Regarded as Safe) essential oils internally, always dilute with an oil-soluble liquid like honey, olive
oil or soy milk.
11. Do not add undiluted essential oils directly to bath water. Use Bath Gel Base as a dispersing agent for oils in the bath. Obligatory Disclaimer: The information is intended for educational purposes only. These statements have not been

It is Food Allergy Awareness Month and this week is FA Awareness Week!
As the boy child is now an adult and manages his allergies himself, I don’t have as much occasion to share about food allergies in natural conversation. Nearly 21 years of worrying over food allergies doesn’t just go away because I’m not in charge of his food prep anymore, though. I will probably always worry about the remaining allergies he has and will probably always stick to my kitchen habits that came from avoiding cross contamination (two knives are used in making a PB&J even though peanuts are safe now🤦🏼‍♀️). We have extended family with other food sensitivities now, which makes me glad to have had experience that makes me feel better equipped to accommodate them, too.

You Bet Your Sweet Bippy - a little bip of this and a little bip of that

I started this page a few years ago to share my love for essential oils and all of Young Living’s other products, but it has morphed into something a little different as my journey toward better wellness has grown. You will still find plenty of information, recipes, diy projects, occasional makeup tips, pet care as related to oil products, kids and oils, toxin free cleaning, etc. about EOs because Young Living’s oils have been the stepping off point of this proverbial road I am on, but you will also find information about changing habits one baby step at a time with eating, exercise, and emotional wellness as shared through my personal story in all its oddball glory. Don’t underestimate the oddballness factor, here.

I hope you find something to take away from this page that encourages you wherever you are in your own life with your health and overall wellness. I’m no doctor, fitness instructor, nutritionist or any type of health professional; I am just a person who loves to share what I’ve learned for myself and my family.
