I haven’t posted here forever, but I’ve decided to get back on track and hopefully sharing here will help keep me accountable. Unfortunately, I’m at the highest weight I’ve ever been, I’m feeling tired a lot, and my joints are often hurting. It’s time to lose this weight and get healthier. I need a jumpstart, so am going back to keto, as this has worked for me in the past. I’m also going to try intermittent fasting and avoid snacking. This is only day 1, so it’s going to be a long journey. It was a little strange not having breakfast this morning, but I survived and made it till noon without eating. I started the day with black tea. For lunch, I had carrots, cucumbers, and cherry tomatoes with ranch dip, an egg, some cheese, and almonds. Dinner was a shrimp taco bowl from Clean Cravings Kitchen. I added some sour cream and shredded cheese. Tomorrow’s lunch is already prepped and ready. I’ve been really bad for buying my lunch everyday and often making unhealthy choices, so I think bringing my own lunch for the most part will help keep me on track.
