The room was filled with energy, smiles, and plenty of great moves as residents and staff came together to celebrate. 🌟

Yesterday, the team at Orchard Mews brought plenty of fun and laughter with our very own Stars in Their Eyes event! 🌟

Residents were treated to fantastic performances inspired by Dolly Parton, Kenny Rogers, ABBA, Tina Turner, Freddie Mercury, and Sam Fender. 🎤✨

To make the day even more special, some of our residents joined in with a sing along, creating wonderful memories and lots of smiles all around. 💛

☘️ Orchard Mews celebrated St Patrick’s Day in style! ☘️

Our residents enjoyed a wonderful morning with the lovely Colin, where the craic was truly amazing. The fun continued as everyone took part in a treasure hunt, discovering pots of gold filled with delicious chocolate coins.

To top it all off, our chef prepared a hearty Irish stew, followed by a rich and indulgent chocolate Guinness cake — a perfect festive treat!☘️🇮🇪☘️

☘️ St. Patrick’s Day Fun! ☘️

Today our residents started celebrating St. Patrick’s Day with a fun and lively quiz led by Amy, our Wellbeing Coordinator 🧠💚. There were lots of laughs, great teamwork, and a bit of friendly competition as everyone tested their knowledge.

A fantastic afternoon enjoyed by all – well done to everyone who took part! 🍀🎉

Today we celebrated Mother’s Day with a lovely afternoon tea. We had such a wonderful day with beautiful food and great company. Thank you to all our family who came to share this special day with us — it meant so much. 💐☕💖

✨ Salon Day at Orchard Mews ✨

Today at Orchard Mews our residents enjoyed a wonderful visit to the salon. 💇‍♀️

Our lovely hairdresser Elaine worked her magic, making everyone look absolutely amazing, while Gill, our wellbeing coordinator, spent time with residents doing their nails and making the visit extra special. 💅

To make the day even more enjoyable, we had a lovely sing-song together, filling the salon with smiles, laughter, and music. 🎶

Today was truly a special day.

We had the absolute pleasure of taking one of our lovely residents to visit her beloved cat, Emily. She has had Emily since she was just a tiny kitten — and now at 18 years old, Emily is still as precious as ever. 🐱💛

They haven’t been able to see each other since October last year, so today’s reunion was incredibly emotional and heartwarming. Watching them reconnect, hearing the gentle purring, and seeing that familiar bond still so strong reminded us just how powerful love truly is.

It was such a beautiful day, and we feel so grateful to have been part of something so special. 💕

Moments like these mean everything.
