Uprooting a verse from its context always lead to error. This is one of the most abused and misunderstood verses in the bible:

Philippians 4:13 KJVS
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

NOW, In reality. CAN YOU? What things?

Paul teaches on the secret of contentment in all these things. If we are convinced that God made us healthy and wealthy then there is no need in learning the secret of contentment in ALL CIRCUMSTANCES. This robes us from enjoying Salvation. When we set up false expectations what comes in is frustrations and dissatisfaction and disappointments.

I CAN GO THROUGH ALL THINGS. I CAN GO THROUGH HAVING NOTHING OR HAVING LOTS. THIS WAS NOT A HEALTH OR WEALTH VERSE IT WAS A SURVIVAL KEY.
BEING ABLE TO SURVIVE IN ALL THINGS.

These Jews prided themselves on their observance of the law, but they were keeping the letter of the law and missing its true intent. The greatest of all the Old Testament laws was to love God and then to love your neighbor as yourself. The Jews were violating these laws by having hatred in their hearts toward Jesus and wanting to kill Him. They denied that they desired to kill Him, but the scriptures declare that they had already plotted or tried to kill Him three times.

They also knew much about God. It was required of the Jewish men to memorize large portions of the Torah (the first five books of the Bible). Their whole society revolved around God's moral standards and countless religious observances. However, they did not know God.

There is a difference between knowing about someone and really knowing them. Likewise today, millions of people are acquainted with knowledge about Jesus. They may even be moral and observe religious ceremonies, but if they don't personally experience knowing Jesus, they are not saved and will not make it to heaven. Even the devils believe and tremble but they aren't saved.

Our spiritual man became dead unto (separated from) God through sin. Just as we didn't accomplish our physical birth, we cannot produce this spiritual rebirth. We are totally incapable of saving ourselves, therefore, we need a Savior. We simply believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and we are saved.

Salvation is not a reformation, but rather a regeneration, a new birth, a new creation, that can only be accomplished by a creative miracle of the Holy Spirit. You must be born again.

Grace accepts the unacceptable, loves the unloveable, and forgives the unforgivable. Grace welcomes sinners home and throws them a party.

Any gospel that demands your cleaningless is another gospel.

Yesterday as we were having a family discussion time. My daughter paused a rather strange question.
Hannah: "mummy do you know why people are not quite interested in going to heaven?"

And obviously I was numb, She received Christ as her personal Lord and Savior, she teaches children's church at times and she says she loves the Lord. Honestly, I was astounded. Anyway, she didnt give me any more chance but proceeded to answer her question.

Hannah: "mummy people dont like this idea of just bowing before this God and worshipping him all day and night singing HALLELUJAH HALLELUJAH endlessly, that must be surely boring"

WOW! At that very moment my instincts totally agreed with her. I could not but imagine and the picture was evident , yes DULL, REPETITIOUS, MONOTONOUS! And immediately Holy spirit agreed with me.

The Greek word used here for "doctrine" means "teaching" and occurs a total of 30 times in the New Testament. The four gospels refer to Jesus teaching 43 times and preaching 19 times, and six verses refer to Him preaching and teaching in the same verse. This would indicate that Jesus spent twice as much time teaching as He did preaching. Jesus' teaching is the basic building block of making disciples and a stumbling block to the religious.

Why is it that a person who is seeking so hard to please God can be rejected, while a person who has not sought God at all can come into a righteous relationship with Him? This is an important question and its answer is one of the most profound doctrines in scripture. The answer is faith and its object.

The Jews were zealous for the things of God, but their faith was in themselves. They were trusting that they could earn God's favor by their acts of righteousness. On the other hand, the Gentiles had no holiness to trust in. So, when they heard the Gospel message that Jesus paid our debt for us, they readily accepted His "gift" of salvation, while the religious Jews could not abandon their trust in themselves for salvation.

The same problem exists today. Millions of church people are trying to live holy lives, but they do not have a true faith in Jesus as their Savior. If they were to stand before God and He was to ask them what they had done to deserve salvation, they would immediately start recounting all their acts of holiness such as church attendance, giving receipts, etc. Regardless of how good our actions are compared to others, they always come short of the perfect standard of God. The only response to this kind of question that would grant us entrance to heaven is to say, "my only claim to salvation is faith in Jesus as my Savior." Let Him be the object of your faith today. He is all you need.

Please dont argue with scientists on creation, they will beat you because the bible is not a history book. It is a faith book.

The bible simply needs explanation. When we say Jesus took away our sins. Does it mean there is no more sin in the world? NO

There is sin in the world, Romans 3:23 CSB
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. AND GOD SAYS ALL, ALL MEANS ALL, TO THE EXCEPTION OF NOTHING.
Jesus was punished on our behalf. So, it is the consequences of sin that he took away.

THE POWER OF SIN IS BROKEN!

They are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.

The bible does not have to be rewritten, it needs to be reread.

I am pained by the messages coming from our pulpits. Messages that minister death, messages that stir up greed, messages that rejects the sinner.
ALL THESE MESSAGES (John 10:10), are there to steal the Joy of SALVATION!

Tell me about Christian marriages guys. So, the Jewish cultural marriages is what you now refer to as Christian marriage?
All marriages are cultural! Period!

These suttle religious practices have created confusion and disharmony in the body of Christ. God's will or desire for men is not in their choice of spouses, NO! He has one desire/will. ie. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Are you Saved? Then you are in his will.

Your choices are independent and sovereign.

Christianity is Christocentric, it centers on Christ and not individuals. This is why our testimonies as good as they may be, cannot Save anyone But the testimony of Christ, is the power of God unto SALVATION!

GOD IS NOT A CONTROL FREAK!!!

For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

Self righteousness is mostly subtle. Most of us have a head knowledge of what Christ came for , we have a fairly good understanding of what he died for. Confusion comes to why he resurrected. And most of us thought it was a show of power of his deity.
Hello, he was God and had nothing to prove.

His resurrection gave us his life, our new birth in Christ. As it is written in Galatians. It is Christ who lives in me. So you dont need a self confidence, what you need is a Christ esteem, a Christ confidence. Choose today who lives, is it you or its Christ in you?
