Just received this lovely comment from a Source Salve user, whose poor dog had developed a skin rash. Shes previously called it “CRC” for humans and animals lol. Love hearing how it helps.

Im finding more and more how Source Salve actually helps take away pain and discomfort. I know I use me as an example a lot lol but being a farmer I manage to do all sorts to myself. Yesterday while treating cattle I manage to scratch myself with a needle before attaching it to the injectable gun. It must’ve nicked inside my skin as it bleed internally and immediately created a haematoma. To begin with it became about as big as an unshelled peanut to which I applied salve about 5 min after doing it. It almost immediately stopped throbbing as the build up of blood had caused it to do. It also stopped increasing in size. After I’d worked several more hours it was still a little sore altho it had flattened out it was restricting my wrist movement. I applied more salve and within next half hour the soreness decreased dramatically. So altho it’s still looking bruised the next morning it’s not causing me any discomfort. I know I make it but it still amazes me with how it works.

Hi Wendy my name is ###x and I am a mate of ######. He gave me a tip of your source salve for my lip.
I had a sore on there that wasn't healing and had to have a biopsy with stitches.
Started using your stuff after that and I must say it's amazing stuff!
Long story short the stitches ended up pulling out after 2 days but the cut had sealed and a couple of days later the sore was going as well.

Hi source salve! Just wanting to let you know how much your amazing cream is helping me and my family during there winter months. From cracked lips, to cracked knuckles and everything in between, any scratch or injury my children are running straight for their source salve. Even my two year old daughter will ask for her cream when she falls over. It is my biggest staple in my first aid cabinet for everything and anything. Just wanted to say thank you for this amazing cream and all of the benefits it has for my family!

Thank you so much, a truly unbelievable product that has changed my life for the best. I underwent radiation and surgery. I used this product alongside the new and old, dark purple scars. You would never know that i had radiation, the nurses and doctors were amazed that my skin looked 'normal' and didn't seem leather like or protrude veins. The scar after three months had started to turn white and even out the texture. A year later you can barely see any scars, old and new. Professional doctors and nurses are amazed at the healing of my skin after having breast cancer and going through all the hoops. I cannot rave about your product. I swear by it and can't wait to keep using it. You only need a very small amount and it goes a long way. I would recommend this for anyone and everyone.

I use it for everything. On my horses I’ve had great results with hoof bruises, thrush etc on my dogss fir all their nicks & on myself to bring out bruising & recently I used it on a nail infection, that ive used countless products on and very little response. Since using the salve I have a line of new nail growing in. Ive also given it to friends fie their eczema and they are taking it back to australia for that after trying it. My son is also using it and taking some to a friend in aussie too.

Another positive happy salve user

Hiya! I just wanted to let you know I've found another use for your salve (there are SO many). my poor pup took the skin off all 4 paw pads at the river this past Saturday and was in a whole lot of pain. I put a decent amount of salve on a dressing and wrapped all 4 Paws, and within a day she was feeling so much better, and now 3 days later, she's nor limping at all. I'll always have some on hand, I use it for everything! Happy New Year!

Thought I’d share a little more about myself and Source Salve as I seem to occasionally get asked for more details than what’s already on the page.

Firstly there is no organisation/company. It’s just me working from home in my spare time, which there’s not a lot of. I’m a fulltime sole charge drystock farm manager. The pic is my family
Of work mates who help get the work done and keep me sane.

I’ve been here over 10 yrs and been making source salve for 22. I started making it while I was studying naturopathy and although I chose not to become a naturopath I’ve used the knowledge I gained nearly everyday since for my animals and family.

I donate source salve to 8 different animal rescues and also many individuals who have needed it. For those who buy it, you are helping me to supply it to those who benefit from its healing qualities. It still amazes me what it can do and I love hearing and seeing the difference it makes.

I’ve had a handful of people who simply state because it’s got lavender or geranium in it, it can’t be safe but I can honestly say in the 22 years I’ve been making it I haven’t received any connected negative feedback. I recently had a customers dog eat most of a 250 gm pot with no ill effects and had a cat which lost all its fur from an auto immune condition which had the salve rubbed all over its body until all its fur regrew. It’s also been used on an2 yr old child with severe conjunctivitis that a dr hadn’t been able to alleviate in a week which had immediate relief and was resolved overnite with salve wiped into their eyes. The process of infusing the herbs into the base oils only allows small amounts of the herbs essences into the salve, which isn’t enough to cause harm.

My aim in the future is to have Source Salve approved medically by medsafe which is to international standards so that it can help many

At present I struggle to keep up with production and often run out. I grow all the herbs myself and sometimes it’s difficult to get hold of the base oils, as we currently have a worldwide shortage of them especially olive oil. Because it contains only natural ingredients and no chemical preservatives it must be kept out of sunlight and preferably in the fridge where it will last indefinitely.

Excuse the up close pic of my legs. All the bruising now resolved from my fall at the end of November. Had X-rays, scans and physio attention, along with using source salve on it at nite. The bruising and swelling rapidly reduced after regularly using the salve on it. Scans revealed multiple small tears in my hamstring so I’m under strict instructions not over do it but I’m optimistic the rest of swelling and movement will be back to normal before to long.
