9 years ago I lost 140 pounds and was able to keep it off for 7 years but in 2020 I stopped maintaining and started gaining weight. It wasn’t because I had stopped working out, eating clean and counting calories, I still was!!! I went and seen my doctor and she said it was probably because I was getting older, I was only 44!!! I met with a dietitian and she said maybe I wasn’t eating enough so I ate more and still gained weight. One month I gained 30 pounds. � I lost all of the muscle I had before and it wasn’t because I wasn’t working out, in fact at times I worked out even harder than I had. My energy fell through the floor and I had to force myself to workout and the rest of the day I sat in the recliner playing candy crush, because i had no energy to do anything else!! I could barely make it through a 12 hour shift as an ICU nurse. I had gained a 100 pounds!!! � I started having hot flashes. I was depressed and when my dad was killed last December I started crying and was crying over everything for 2 months. I couldn’t sleep unless I took a sleeping pill and a handful of Tylenol and I still didn’t feel rested!!! I was seriously constipated for my entire life. In fact my whole body felt inflamed!! ONLY old people get that, I am only 46!!! I had no desire to inspire people and completely stopped social media. None of my cute clothes fit anymore. I felt defeated, like a failure and a fraud!!! After 3 days of Triplex my constipation was gone. Energy came back after about 30-60 days and now at day 100 I have more energy than I did 5 years ago, when I was in the best shape of my life. There are days I want to give up on this getting healthy journey but if I gave up I would never forgive myself!!!

I didn’t want to do the workout today but I only had 2 days left to officially finish this program again!!! So I did it and I will workout tomorrow too!!! I will finish this program!!!!

Some days I don’t want to workout but I do it anyway!! Somedays I don’t want to eat healthy but I do it anyway!! Some days I don’t want to go to work but I do it anyway!!

I did not want to workout today but I did it anyway!! Some days are like this you just don’t want to do it but you do it anyway!!! I do a count down and have a desire to stick to a schedule so that is what keeps me going on days like today!!!

How strong is your positive mindset?? There is happiness and peace naturally in you life it is your negative thoughts that clouds it in your life!! 💪🏼💪🏼💕

You can change your thoughts to positive from negative!! I do prayer, meditation, read the Bible, workout, and listen to personal development to strengthen my positivity. It is something you have to do everyday!!

Today I am appreciating what I do have!!! I appreciate that I am in the best shape of my life!!! I appreciate that I can make it through hard workouts without stopping or modifications!! I appreciate that my clothes still fit great!! I appreciate that I still have amazing abs. I appreciate that I have an amazing supportive husband!! I appreciate that I have the funds to buy good clean nutrition!!!

I am taking it easy today!! Woke up with a splitting sinus headache so I am taking care of me today. Glad it’s self care stretching Sunday so I can take care of myself.

I try to do a workout even when I don’t feel good!! It usually helps me feel better. I try to do a stretching workout once a week to keep my workouts more effective and I recent injury!!!

How is your mindset with food and your workouts??? The nutrition program I have been doing has helped so much with my mindset with food and my body!!! If you feel negative about your workouts maybe you are doing the wrong workouts!! I used to dread working out when I was going to the gym because I did not enjoy them. I love to workouts I do now and my mindset is so different!!!
