Today, Hearts of Hope staff proudly wore denim in support of survivors of sexual violence.

Denim Day began in 1999 after the Italian Supreme Court overturned a r**e conviction, stating the survivor’s jeans were “too tight” and must have implied consent. In protest, women in the Italian Parliament wore jeans—igniting a global movement for justice and survivor support.
