"The lawsuits also say Eli Lilly deceived the public by including in the drug’s label that only 1% of users experienced withdrawal symptoms, when in reality studies show between 44% and 50% suffered from discontinuation problems.

Of those who had withdrawal effects, about half experienced moderate or persistent symptoms. And one in 10 experienced severe symptoms. The plaintiffs say “nowhere on Cymbalta’s label does it indicate the potential duration of withdrawal symptoms.”

Nowhere is number of people who died from Cymbalta Duloxetine.

A 19-year-old college student who had shown no outward signs of depression killed herself over the weekend at an Eli Lilly & Company laboratory in Indianapolis where she had been participating in a company drug trial for an experimental antidepressant.

The FDA announced that 7,107 bottles of Duloxetine Delayed-Release Capsules - sold under the brand name Cymbalta - have been recalled due to containing a potentially cancer-causing chemical.

While we dream about the day when all prescription psych drugs are removed from the market, the fact is, it takes approximately 2.5 years to taper off 30mg of Rx psych drugs, that's 10 years for 120mg.
The drugs are extremely risky and addictive, and risks are not limited to dose changes.
Risks listed can happen anytime. Risks increase if the doctor/ nurses or caregivers are in denial.

Cymbalta Duloxetine requires microbeads to slow taper.

Update: "During the time of her passing, David Hasselhoff's ex-wife, Pamela Bach, had Benzodiazepines, Clonazepam and 7-Aminoclonazepam in her system, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's report. Benzodiazepines are depressants used to treat anxiety, while Clonazepam and 7-Aminoclonazepam (a metabolite of Clonazepam) are prescribed for panic disorders and seizure disorders.
It's important to note that these drugs were found in her system at the time of her death, but her cause of death was determined to be a su***de by a self-inflicted gunshot wound, not directly related to the drugs found in her system, according to Us Weekly"

⚠ Alert FDA DRUG RECALL ALERT for Rx "Duloxetine" antidepressant (generic for "Cymbalta".

"Nitrosamines" ☠
"Thousands of bottles of antidepressants have been recalled across the U.S. after they were found to contain levels of a potentially cancer-causing chemical above the acceptable limit as set out by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

The recall of the Duloxetine Delayed-Release Capsules, produced by Towa Pharmaceutical Europe, was initiated on October 10 and has been given the second highest risk classification by the FDA.

Duloxetine is a medication used to manage depression, anxiety, and nerve pain, such as fibromyalgia. It works by increasing levels of mood-boosting chemicals in the brain. However, during its production, low levels of a chemical called N-nitroso-duloxetine can also be produced.

This chemical belongs to a group of chemicals called nitrosamines that are commonly found in water and food products.

However, when they are present in higher concentrations, and we are exposed to them for an extended period of time, these chemicals may increase our risk of developing cancer. As a result, their concentrations are strictly limited by the FDA.

"There are multiple reasons why nitrosamines can be present in drugs. FDA found the source of nitrosamines can be related to the drug's manufacturing process or its chemical structure or even the conditions in which they are stored or packaged," the FDA said in a statement. "As foods and drugs are processed in the body, nitrosamines can also be formed. FDA continues to test and research possible sources for drugs found to contain nitrosamines."

Since awareness is spreading, I looked up the question, "12 years after emergency discontinuation of antidepressant drugs, why do I get severely groggy, sleepy, and unable to see speak or move as normal?"

Sometimes researching old questions again can be fruitful.

I pretty much pass out often after dinner for 1 or 2 hours, then awake irritable but much better, but unable to go back to sleep, when I want. Serotonin syndrome akathesia dystonia insomnia, and problems with my appetite, nausea.

Notice:
The Recommendations say 'Talk to your doctor...' but they will likely need educating and may argue facts. Be prepared and protect yourself and your medical records by using the tips organized in the 10 Step Method. Read these organized tips before you make changes, and before you talk to a doctor again. 🔑
