Yesterday, November 14, 2024, our LifeFlight team experienced the sudden and tragic loss of one of our valued crew members.

At this time, we ask that you please keep the LifeFlight team in your thoughts and prayers.

We want to thank all who have reached out to offer their sympathies and support, and most importantly, we extend our sincerest condolences and love to the family of our cherished colleague.

It seems far too frequent that we see sad news here in the AK Valley lately. We are all saddened to hear of the passing of EMT Ron Shaffer. Some of the staff here at EMS Partner Services worked with Ron in the past and he will be missed by many friends, family and colleagues. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and the staff of Murrysville Medic One.
