InnerWaves: Reiki Energy Healing Energy Reiki healing for you or your pets. In person or distance Reiki sessions are available. One hour of Reiki is equivalent to 3 hours of sleep!

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress, and if it is high, we are more capable of being happy and healthy. The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy." A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that flows through and around you. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing. Many have reported miraculous results. Reiki is a simple, natural and safe method of spiritual healing and self-improvement that everyone can use. It has been effective in helping virtually every known illness and malady and always creates a beneficial effect. It also works in conjunction with all other medical or therapeutic techniques to relieve side effects and promote recovery. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion. It has no dogma, and there is nothing you must believe in order to learn and use Reiki. In fact, Reiki is not dependent on belief at all and will work whether you believe in it or not. Because Reiki comes from God, many people find that using Reiki puts them more in touch with the experience of their religion rather than having only an intellectual concept of it. While Reiki is not a religion, it is still important to live and act in a way that promotes harmony with others. Mikao Usui, the founder of the Reiki system of natural healing, recommended that one practice certain simple ethical ideals to promote peace and harmony, which are nearly universal across all cultures. I never get to do enough Reiki with the animal kingdom and tonight this little guy was rescued by a staff member at Ren's Pet Store in Ajax. I couldn't resist giving him very gentle Reiki while I was there

I didn't have a lesson tonight and took advantage of the free evening and stopped at my local Ren"s Pet Store to stock up on Big Country Raw, treats and collars. One of the staff had a wee bunny 🐇 she was handfeeding, so I offered little Squishy some Reiki 🙌💕🙌 Little Squishy can use all the help he can , so Reiki friends, please consider sending a little extra his way 💕

It is with a heavy heart that I share the passing of sweet Olivia today :( Her family loved her more than any other had and what is more special is that she was a senior when they took her in. They loved her, cared for her and did everything everyday that they could to make her happy and comfortable. I'm honoured to have been part of her journey by visiting with her every 2 weeks for a reiki session. They tell me how wonderfully she responded and looked forward to our sessions. Jenn and Anne, you did a good thing today by loving her enough to let her go and she will always be with you in your hearts

I have a standing appointment with the lovely Olivia every 2 weeks for her Reiki session. Her mom tells me that she now gets ready for me ahead of time in her spot on the couch and waits patiently for me to arrive! ❤❤ Even better is that her family notices a big difference in her both physically and mentally; and that's what it's all about! The second picture shows one very relaxed girl!!

I could not have asked for this day to have gone any better!! Congratulations to Taylor on completing Reiki level I and a huge thank you to Sue, who has already completed level II Reiki, but joined us to be a partner for Taylor! The energy in the room was insane and we even blew the bulb in my Himalayan salt lamp! These two ladies are such dear friends to me and I'm grateful for their part in the continuation of my Reiki journey! 💕
I need to also say a big thank you to Susan Rouse, my teacher, my friend, my mentor! She fielded a few questions I had last night in preparation!

I saw this a couple of months ago and thought of my new friend Tess who said she saw many floating hearts while receiving reiki from me.
