Hancock Public Health wishes to provide public health information and discussion of public health issues in formats utilized by the citizens of Hancock County. Over the 2023 Labor Day holiday, 311 drivers were killed in traffic crashes.
* 109 (35%) drivers were alcohol-impaired with a BAC .08 or above
* Sixty-eight (62%) of the 109 impaired drivers were almost twice the legal limit (BAC .15+).
