This is one of my favorite things to do! And it’s only available to my 1:1 clients. When we make magic potions together (custom oil blends) I do this large 10 card oracle spread. It is always 🤯 on the nose and makes my blends even more magical than before. Which is saying something 🧚‍♂️😉

Happy first week of advent! This is my favorite time of year and it wasn’t until I was an adult that I realized it’s actually a season with a structure and a rhythm to it.

I love advent. I love the combination of both slowing down and sitting in joyful anticipation. I love the late-term pregnant feeling of it. Most worries are over and it’s just time to wait for the growth to be accomplished.

I’m moving intentionally with Advent this year. I’m using the app to pray along with the cast of . This week I’m leaning consciously & intentionally into hope which is also a wonderful partner for the energy of the waxing crescent moon 🌒

I basically never stop having fun if I can help it. It’s a life philosophy that has something to do with life being an absurd game anyway, so might as well have fun.

But I also like the state it puts my brain into. Light & flexible. Open & creative. Ready to make something new or roll with something hard. I invent games all the time to trick myself into doing things I don’t want to do. The best part of even a funeral is telling the best, happiest and funniest stories about the person.

For the last mercury retrograde I host a very exclusive magical gathering themed around a circus. One of my favorite bits of feedback was “You made retrograde FUN”

Yeah, baby. That’s what I DO! A brain that is having fun is a flexible learning brain. But also having fun is just more fun. 😜

Visiting my Michigan hometown with my beautiful daughter to celebrate the life of my beautiful grandma. And the urge to call her to let her know we had safely landed and set up a time to visit is big and hard and a little unwieldy. Just like grief

I’m so proud of myself for putting together two outfits both reasonably warm and funeral appropriate and it took all both of my long sleeved shirts. If I hadn’t recently worked in an office with unreasonably cranked AC this would have been much harder

From my notes for the event I’m planning right now (and will have more details for tomorrow!) See the little white scribbles? That’s how I’m tracking dates now.

I’m tired of the belief soup we are all living in that the days are all the same and the weeks are all the same and the months are all the same and we chop the years into quarters and show up like robots 🤮🤮🤮

I want to engage with primal movement. I want to move in a way that honors cycles and seasons and my own history. I want to respect what less sunlight and shorter days is telling me. I want to honor the movements of the moon. I want to respect my own seasons of highs and lows.

I’m tired of “being constant” I’m excited to explore my highs as well as my lows. I have a deep sense that I’ve been moving out of rhythm with my self. With the inheritance of cycles we are all entitled to. I’m eagerly anticipating experimenting with taking action inside the full context of sun, moon and self. Not as a ruling structure (why swap one for another?) but as something harmonious and synchronized. With the atonal and syncopated parts done with purpose and awareness and playfulness. And with the major movements launching from alignment and skipping to even higher heights.

Honoring the waning days of sweatpants and warm drinks and dissolving into deep thoughts or no thoughts. And seeing that as fecund and not wasted. And zinging and vibrating with explosively high energy in my summertime, my full moons, my waxing and peaking seasons.
