Scoville Counseling

I am passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of presenting issues. Life is messy, full of hurts, disappointments, stressors, and grief – past and present. I want to help you get “unstuck” so you can live your best life, whatever that is for you. My unusual and varied life experiences make me uniquely qualified to sit with you and to walk alongside you on your journey of healing. I cannot give you the answers, but I promise you will not have to find them alone.

I am genuinely interested in you and your story. I want you to feel safe, empowered, and have increased compassion for yourself. I have convenient late afternoon, evening, and weekend appointments available to best suit your needs. It will be a privilege to be part of your journey.

Elizabeth G. Scoville, M.S., LPC-MHSP (temp) is a Nashville native and has lived and studied abroad in Ecuador and Spain. After earning her undergraduate degree, she embraced a career opportunity which allowed her to travel around the world for six years. Elizabeth moved back to Nashville in 2012 and was working at a local university when she and her family traveled to Boston where they were present during 2013 marathon bombings. Following this event, and her various life experiences including living and working with people of many backgrounds and cultures, Elizabeth decided to pursue her dream of going back to school to earn a graduate degree to support, empower, and encourage others.
