Here’s an active challenge for you which can help you feel lighter, happier and more optimistic. It also helps to mute difficulties and sadness. Last week I was fortunate enough to visit Australia’s Whitsunday Islands. So absolutely beautiful. It was hard to leave the beauty. A good daily practise in training your mind to see the positives around you, is to purposely look for the beauty in each and every day. It may be someone’s smile, the colour of the sky, or the tiniest of flowers, or a sweet animal. The challenge is to find the beauty around you, even if you have to seek all day. In the comments below, post a photo of what you found that is beautiful, or simply state what it was. Feel free to post every day and share here. That way you can get more ideas from everyone here. My picture from my holiday is a memory and today I will look for a flower, a colour or anything beautiful. Practise this for 30 days and notice the difference in how you feel.

Throughout our lives we will face issues of our own or we may be negatively affected by the issues of those we love or even by our enemies. It’s important to know that you can return from these dark places. Don’t feed darkness with fear, sadness, or dwelling on the negatives. It will only take you deeper into the abyss. Feed these times with light and love. Positive thoughts. Positive images. Love and light will pull you out. Positive actions, kind words, thoughts of hope, loving thoughts and seeking beauty anywhere that you can. Possibly even in the tiniest of flowers. Love will give you your wings to fly again. Trust thoughts of love ♥️

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming and scary. Don’t hold onto old patterns that are not working. Your patterns are not you! You can continue to grow. Strong minds are flexible. Living organisms adapt, change, recalibrate and develop so that you don’t just remain the same person your whole life. You can transform to make life easier. Give up old thoughts and behaviours that are destructive or damaging to yourself and others. Be kind to yourself and others. See all the good and beautiful things around you. Train your mind to work this way. Then eventually you can be happy and content whilst all around you is in turmoil or appears threatening. You will build inner strength. Just like the caterpillar must become a mushy mess before it becomes a butterfly, you too may feel broken or exhausted at times. But don’t give up. Trust the process. You will find your wings. 🦋
