Norovirus is NOT destabilized by alcohol sanitizers. You need to wash your hands VERY WELL (including under your nails) with SOAP and warm water (which also works for COVID prevention). I do not recommend bleach for hands as it is very drying. Hydrogen peroxide OR thorough hand washing is helpful.

Surfaces need to be cleaned by either bleach or hydrogen peroxide. Winter approaching brings flu, and all sorts of gastrointestinal irritation by a wide range of viruses. They are EASY to avoid when hand hygiene is part of your daily routing, particularly if you venture into stores for food, clothing, furniture etc.

Always wash your organic produce before eating it. "Organic" produce is often fertilized by raw animal manuer and may have E.Coli or other organisms on the surface. Root veggies need special care (potatoes, carrots etc.) and should be well washed and, ideally, at least steamed or otherwise cooked.. If you prefer to eat carrots raw, they must be peeled and well washed.
