Reignite PRO Executive Health & Performance Coaching For successful professionals who want to look, feel and perform better. ▪️WHAT I DO: Alex helps successful professionals look, feel and perform better.

Working as a coach and mentor with directors, VPs, CXO and entrepreneurs, he works holistically to help them rebalance their health, losing 14-30 lbs in the process and re-energising both their bodies & minds so that they can rise to the next level personally and/or professionally. Alex is an ex-FTSE100 Executive with a background in physical performance and psychology. He’s also an ultra challenge enthusiast, having competed in numerous events, from a 100 mile run, 700 mile triathlon and Iron Man to name a few.

▪️HOW I DO IT: Physical and mental transformation, like your brick and mortar residence, is built on 4 Key Pillars

1. Exercise & Movement
2. Nutrition & Energy
3. High-Performance Routines & Behaviour Change
4. Mindset

If any one of these pillars is weak or not present, you will not sustain your performance or results. How many times have you heard of people losing weight and then putting more back on? Or getting a promotion and then reaching burn out or being overwhelmed with anxiety? Alex works with you holistically using pioneering studies from the field of human psychology, his decade long studies of health and the human body and a unique array of coaching methodologies to help you build each pillar brick by brick. He holds his clients ruthlessly accountable during the programme and coaches them on self-accountability practices for after the engagement ends.

Speaking to one of my clients yesterday

He knew something BIG was coming

He's been running further and further each week for the last month

At the beginning of 2022 he'd set himself to run a 5k by the end of the year

You see he'd never run before this time last year

He was always the guy at school that came in last when you had to run around the field

Was always the fat one that people bullied because he couldn't keep up

That version of him has permeated into multiple facets of his life

But all of that is starting to change now

Because slowly but surely, through a combination of exercise, challenge and mindset work

We're repositioning who he is in his own mind

Because that fat kid from school can't run

He eats to cover up emotions from hugely stressful times of things that have happened in the past

He loses control when he's on holiday and the wheels come off

But this man is a completely different beast

This man has lost over 70lbs on his journey

This man has made a promise to himself and his partner he's never going back

This man's starting to view and think of himself for the first time ever as an athlete

And ask himself questions like

"what would an athlete do?"

"How would an athlete act?"

"How would an athlete eat?"

Our self identity is the number one element that affects change for the long term.

No diet or exercise plan is going to help you if your self identity doesn't shift

It's why so many people lose and then re-gain even more weight, perpetually on a yo-yo cycle, never able to truly break free and regain control

You have to view yourself differently

You have to be willing to step into a future vision of yourself and emotionally connect to it

Constantly reframing in your own mind who you are and how your standards reflect this new version of you

There's a formula I use in my blueprint to do this:

Self identity = trust x authority x repetition

Next week this man will run a half marathon

Because he's no longer that fat, scared kid

He'll do it because he's an athlete and that's what athlete's do.

Achieving balance and having more control

(and hence more freedom) can be hard

Trying to know when to forge ahead

And when to hold back and lay the foundations for the next phase

This week I’ve had 4 new clients come on board

Guys who are ready to focus on learning a lifestyle system and protocol that allows them to look after themselves better

Sorting their bodies out

every single one of them will lose 10kg+ in this process

start to better regulate their hormones and energy levels and reduce internal inflammation

But more than that, they’ll each achieve better balance and control of their lives

I know because I’ve been there

It’s not about trying to be the best or be perfect now

That doesn’t actually matter

It’s about unlearning a conditioned mindset that’s got you to where you are now

The-All-Or-Nothing

It’ll keep you trapped, if you let it.

Embracing instead principles like Kaizen

Being 1% better each day

Learning more about yourself so you can better regulate your thoughts, emotions and mental health

Now consistency is still king

And if these guys aren’t committing to their words I’ll be holding their feet right up against that fire!

Because I’m not their friend

I’m their new coach

So when it comes down to YOUR life being the one on the line, I’m not willing to f**k around or waste time

Are YOU?

As of last week, James had lost 24lbs in 11 weeks on my programme Reignite PRO.

When I quizzed him about how that had affected him, he was surprised to say that it had affected every aspect of his life...

How he showed up in business

His mental health and resilience

The behaviour his son emulated and how he looked at him as a father

12 weeks ago, he was a different man

He's not f**king around now

You can see it, you can hear it

And when you talk to him, you can most certainly FEEL it.

I've twisted his arm and James is going to jump in the hot seat with me this Friday

CLIENT SPOTLIGHT 👏👏👏

TOTAL WEIGHT LOSS = 10.4kg (23lbs) 📉📉📉

What a pleasure it has been to help this client have such a fantastic result and not just on the scales!

This client has improved his....

✅ Fitness

✅ Body Confidence

✅ Self Confidence

✅Personal relationships

✅ Stress Management

✅ Energy level at home and at work

✅ Sleep Quality

✅ Recovery

A few words from this client:

👇👇👇👇

“I couldn’t believe how linked other areas of my life were to my weight, physique and overall energy. I was trying to solve what I believed to be a problem with my exercise and nutrition, with bouts of intense exercise and trying to eat just salads. Working with Alex I came to see that the real issue was how I handled and reacted to stress and planning areas in my life better other than just work. Alex has transformed me from the inside out and I’m much happier in my own skin. I’ve never experienced anything like this depth of coaching before. This goes far beyond just fitness coaching. I’m now more productive, more focussed, have more clarity on my life ambitions and a whole new level of knowledge on wellness, nutrition and performance.”

Lost 10.4 kg. Belt now 2 notches tighter. Fitted into favourite shirts in my wardrobe. Put 15kg on 10RM Bench, Put 30kg on Squat, revealed flat stomach and abs again.

🗣🗣🗣

He now has the tools and the confidence to continue this journey on his own and I look forward to hearing about his continued success outside of the program! 👏😀📉

People often overlook the mindset side of things when it comes to losing weight and getting on top of their health.

They don’t consider their overall performance as linked to their health.

When you focus on just a restrictive diet and exercise, it’s a short term solution at best. A short-term solution will give you short-term results!

By replacing a diet with a lifestyle change, building habits with a science backed approach and focussing on deeper mindset exercises like your self image, self identity and self esteem the transformation and associated benefits to performance are deep and enduring.

You need to understand the HOW/WHY and not just the WHAT!

Reignite PRO - Performance on point.

PS. A HUGE WELL DONE, you have smashed this program! 👏👏👏👏

We live in an age of instant gratification

Convenience

Time poor professionals

Squeezing the most out of their careers

But in many cases kicking their health into touch for [insert your own time period here]

Diabetes is one of the leading causes of sight loss in the UK and 1 in 6 people in a hospital bed is caused from a complication linked to diabetes.

If you’ve been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes or you’re prediabetic there’s two things that will have likely caused it:

🌭 Poor nutrition and eating habits

🤯Inability to tolerate/deal with stress (cortisol)

Here’s 5 things you can do to limit the impact and even reverse it

1. Increase your steps, particularly just after having a meal. This will help regulate your blood sugar levels.

2. Mastication (chew your food!) By helping your digestive system break your food down you regulate how it is assimilated in the gut and reaches the blood stream.

3. Increase your muscle size through resistance training.

This increases the amount of storage that you have for glucose (carbohydrate from food is broken down to glucose and stored in the muscles and liver as glycogen).

Bigger muscles means more storage space and less glucose (sugar) left in your bloodstream.

4. Regulate simple carbohydrate and sugar intake.

Refined sugar is a poison. It finds its way into almost everything.

But it’s also delicious, and I get that!

I’m not about to say give up sugar.

BUT, you do want to limit and substitute it where possible. Try xylitol and stevia rather than sugar in hot drinks and cooking and if you do have simple carbohydrates have some additional fats/proteins (think billtong, nuts etc) to help increase the time it takes to break down in the gut and reach your blood, limiting any associated spikes in insulin.

5. Apply to join my programme.

You can’t perform at your best unless your physical health is as optimised as it can be.

If you’re on the road to becoming type 2 diabetic, already are, you’re likely overweight as well.

You know that energy levels, focus and productivity are not as high as they could be and you’re not showing up as your best self.

Once you decide to change that, I’ll give you the blueprint that actually shows you how.

If you don’t want the diabetic sentence, it’s time you make time.

Drop me a DM today to find out more.

𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝟐 𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐤𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝟏𝟐 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐬+

Is that even possible?

Tbh when you're in your 20s, 30s even - you thought you had it cracked

You didn't have the same level of responsibility that you do now

Maybe you didn't have kids?

It certainly seemed like you had more time...

TIME

That ever elusive, precious resource

We're all scarce of it

And when you reach your 40s, 50s even, you may pause for a second

You want to be doing something meaningful

Maybe operating on a bigger scale?

Having a bigger impact?

Earning a greater level of income?

With a clean bill of health

The next 10-15 years, to a large extent, is where your legacy will be built

And right NOW is the turning point.

Either your weight, energy levels and overall health continues on a downward trajectory and you're unable to keep up with the kids (or grandkids even)

You struggle to keep all the plates spinning and you never get to reach that top of the pyramid 'Self Actualisation' territory

(creds to Maslow for that one)

OR you take a step back

Decide that it's time to start firing on all cylinders again

To be on point, sharp and laser focussed

The only reason you're not there now, consistently, is because you havn't figured out a sustainable system that works for your current lifestyle

You havn't put the necessary structures in place to balance all of the other areas across Maslow's heirarchy

Safety (health)

Love and belonging (connection)

Esteem (self esteem, self respect & strength)

These are frequently pulling you off course when your inadequate systems break down.

How?! You ask

This is mine...

𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐄𝐎 𝐌𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐝 (𝐓𝐌)

First get clarity on which areas of your health & performance need to change and to what extent

Then put in place the necessary building blocks, bespoke to your lifestyle that will energise both your mind and your body - sustainably.

Thirdly, optimise this process through repetition, increasing intensity and reflection until new habits and scripts become automatic

What are the tools for achieving this?

I call it 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝟒 𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧:

1. Exercising and movement

2. Nutrition and Energy

3. High Performance Lifestyle routines & behaviour change

4. Mindset

When we work across all 4, building structure, accountability and changing behaviours slowly but surely one at a time

We get transformation

We put you back in the driving seat, full control, improved levels of balance, well-being and massive amounts more energy

What bigger purpose you then use that for is up to you...

I once heard a saying that all good coaches have a coach.

I think it's true, at least in my experience.

I've mentored hundreds of coaches in the health, fitness and life coaching/performance coaching space

I've worked with a dozen or so mentors across health, performance, business, transformation and personal coaching sectors.

And I can tell you 4 times when investing in a coach makes sense:

1. You've tried and failed in the past

2. You want to get somewhere faster and leverage their knowledge and expertise

3. You want an (all but) guaranteed proven route (call it a blueprint if you will) to success that others have tested and gotten results from

4. You want to optimise and go from good to great

Now personally I work with clients in the health, performance at work, wellbeing, fitness and mindset space.

The general benefits my clients experience include:

📈 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐫𝐬

reduction in body weight and body fat%, increase in muscle mass, improvement in VO2 max (oxygen utilisation efficiency in the body), HR variability (longevity marker) and sleep quality

📈 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬, 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐫𝐠𝐲

Getting more done in less time, freeing up time, energy and space to spend on the things you value most and 'bigger picture thinking'

📈 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 & 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠

Structures and systems to combat high stress environments

📈 𝐁𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨𝐦 𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐛𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐧 𝐮𝐩𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬

Helping founders & execs earn more money & close more deals through increased mental capabilities, self confidence and higher energy levels & focus

When choosing a coach, it's imperative to understand what outcomes you want to achieve.

Anyone that's just going to sit their and act as a councillor for an hour and then check back in with you again in a week won't move you forwards.

You MUST be clear on what you want

You need to be willing to be challenged

You must be ok with being stretched and pushed to the limits of your potential

What's the most fulfilling coaching experience you've had? I'm curious!

You see physiologists used to think that our genetic predisposition held the key to what happened to us

That in some way we were destined for our fate

Kinda liberating in a way…

Allowing you to abdicate responsibility

“I’ve got a history of heart disease in my family”

“My dads got diabetes so I’m likely to get it”

But last week I attended a mastermind seminar in Brighton

We got into the nitty gritty of well-being, health and talked through some of the latest research

This is how we defined well-being:

Well-being is leveraging lifestyle to a net positive impact on physiology, feeling and performance

You see as you approach your 40s, 50s and beyond, every action has a reaction

And it’s more important than you might think

See I’m watching prospective clients, friends, family even who in their 50s and 60s are facing major life changing moments

I watched as one of the greatest designers of our time, and my father in law, turned yellow to all but a skeleton and then faded away in 6 months leaving my wife without anyone to walk her down the aisle

My own dad has one of those “Roman” noses, you know the ones from Asterisk and Obelisk where they used to colour them in red to show how many gallons of wine they have?! Funny to joke about until you realise his nerves down his legs are causing him daily agony and preventing him from walking well

All of these ailments are LIFESTYLE based diseases.

ALL of these are preventable (or at least the risk of experiencing them SUBSTANTIALLY reduced through well-being and focus on a net healthy lifestyle)

❌ It doesn’t mean giving up alcohol

❌ It doesn’t mean giving up eating out in nice restaurants

❌ It doesn’t mean giving up that slice of cake

BUT you DO have to take ownership

No one else will.

There's people out there who have realised it’s better to slowly poison you than kill you

The guys in control who through decades of experimentation know EXACTLY how to keep you addicted

To alcohol, sugar, bleached flour, milk and meat laden with hormones and antibiotics

This is what you're facing into right now

Here’s 5 simple tools for you to fight back

1. Cardiovascular exercise - [10mins+ twice per week]

2. Resistance training [doesn’t have to be in a gym, 10 mins body weights is fine to start]

3. Hydration - [3l water, certain types of fruit]

4. Movement - [5k-10k steps daily]

5. Sleep - [7-8 hrs]

“But I don’t have the time, Alex”

Well enjoy leaving your family early and a slow, painful, premature death then ☺️

But seriously

You're not your father and you do have time.

Give me 10 mins with you and I’ll help you find it.

Then if you're up for it

We'll change the trajectory of the rest of your life

Enjoy yourself this weekend, let your hair down and blow off a bit of steam

BUT…

Remember, Monday’s version of you is sat there, patiently waiting, watching, knowing that he has to stare at himself in the mirror

Don’t undo all of your hard work.

Man in the evening, man in the morning

Stay consistent and accountable

Enjoy your weekends responsibly

The real reason your weight is up and down more often than a yo-yo…

Isn’t your fault you’ve just been lied to…

Told that all you need to do is go on a diet

Told that getting beasted by a PT is the answer

Now I’m going to ruffle a few feathers here

And if you’re offended by a narrative other than the mainstream, then please by all means

STOP READING NOW.

Still here?

You brave red pill motherf*cker

Fair play

Since you havnt hit scroll, I’m going to give you the truth

The same reason why we don’t cure many diseases like cancer

we “treat” them

Its the same reason, the fitness industry pedals diet after diet

Pill after pill

And programme after programme

We’re repeatedly spun a half truth with our health and fitness.

See the industry is a multi billion dollar one

And to keep those $$$ coming in requires you to “stay stuck” for longer and longer periods of time.

The fitness market in the UK is just shy of $2bn yet 63% of the population is overweight, half of that obese.

Up 3 fold in the last 5 years (and this is worse in USA)

Something doesn’t make sense…

Yes, getting in shape has a lot to do with your nutrition and exercise

But you couldn’t mow the lawn if the mower was locked away in the shed right?

Here’s why, if you’re a time poor professional you may have failed to keep the weight off in the past.

1. You need to look at the whole pyramid of transformation.

Nutrition and exercise only “work” if you have the right behaviours/routines in place for your specific schedule.

Each week there must be a plan in place, I call this sorting out your outer game

What gets appropriately time boxed and scheduled has a greater chance of getting done

But you also need to look inward.

The base of the pyramid, the biggest lever you have input over that defines your performance is your MINDSET

“sorting out your inner game”

You need to reprogramme your mind and underlying psychology so that exercise and nutrition are readily available tools that can help you not only get, but STAY in shape.

2. You need to condition yourself for self accountability

If you don’t want to be a slave to your emotions, how you feel and a finite resource of mental energy, you need to move towards a state of inspiration, whereby your reason why you want to make a change is linked repeatedly with the things you value most.

Only then can you hold yourself accountable and continue to keep any changes for the long term.

3. You need help implementing these solutions into your specific lifestyle

At 60, busy director Dave thought this was it

He’s short on time

He’s had Covid

He’s had a bad back

There’s every legitimate reason under the sun why he shouldnt be 15lbs lighter after 10 weeks of working together

BUT

Instead of focussing on what he can’t control

Instead of having an “all-or-nothing” mindset

Dave looks for the Pillars he CAN work with

So, whilst it’s not your fault you’ve been lied to…

… it damn well is your fault to fix it.

11/10/2022

By now your schedule may already resemble something out of a paint by numbers sketch book...

Your diary is no longer your own - it's been hijacked by the meeting bandits!

Those time theifs stealing your precious 30min and 60min free slots you'd earmarked to actually get some work done... or even just catch your breath

By 10am your desktop notifications are pinging off faster than an air traffic control landing bay.

Back to back meetings with barely enough time to get to the toilet, let alone make time for lunch

All the while the stress mounts until you finally get through to the end of the day

You COULD work out, but you're knackered, brain's fried and eyes are stinging from looking at a screen all day

Any motivation to do anything productive is kicked into touch

"I'll do it tomorrow you say"

Burning those Covid lbs will have to wait

Which is frustrating, because you've got about 30 of them to torch until you're back to fighting weight

I get how busy you and how difficult the balancing act can be, particularly when you throw a family in the mix

Here's 4 things, the very first 4 things I get my clients to do when they start on Reignite PRO so that they can begin to lose weight without losing time or focus even if they're working 60 hour+ weeks

1. 3l of water a day - boosts your metabolism, spikes energy levels and helps with fat loss

2. Standing desk - burns up to 650 kcals extra per week

3. Cold showers - wakes you the f*ck up and makes you feel like you're doing something (you are - they improve your immune system, boost circulation and have been linked to fat loss)

4. Minimum standard - if everything else in the day goes haywire, whats the 5-6min of exercise you can do in the morning that burns a few kcals and boosts your testosterone, reducing cortisol so you feel better and make stronger, faster decisions?

These 4 won't solve all your problems, but it's a sure fire way to start fighting back against the bandits and reclaim control of your waistline once again.

Getting started can be hard sometimes

(Working out I mean 😉)

But I’ve got 100x more respect for the guy that’s 4 stone overweight and willing to take ownership

and do something about it than the man who’s 1.5stone overweight pretending like nothings wrong and he’ll sort it out later

Time and tide wait for no man

Anyone, yes anyone, no matter how time poor can take control of his happiness and his health

If you’re telling yourself you don’t have time to sort it out

Try this out:

It’s 89 days until Christmas

The average Brit will put on 6lbs over the festive season.

Option 1: you carry on the way you’re going and put on 14lbs+ between now and New Year 2023

You’re going to “decide” to sort it out then anyways, but you’ll be heavier, angrier, more anxious, more energy depleted.

Work will be mental, you won’t have any more time than you do now and you’ll feel like a resentful bag of sh*t

Option 2: you make a decision that today its time to motherf*ckin’ carpe diem

You decide that you deserve better

Your wife or partner deserves a better shaped version of you on top of them

Your kids deserve a better physical role model to model their behaviours on

You decide that it’s time to Fillith thy cup first before you attempt to fill others

And in doing so, will be about 34lbs lighter than the option 1 guy

Life’s a series of opportunity costs

I’m here with the battle tested blueprint for all of you option 2 guys.

Ready when you are 🫡
