Catherine Carter Acupuncture

Catherine Carter Acupuncture Acupuncturist and Naturopath based in Bristol, UK. I am training as an Acupuncturist at the College of Naturopathic Medicine. Warm wishes,
Catherine

What drew me to Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and Acupuncture is the way it uses logic, intuition and thousands of years of experience to explain how the body works and why illness occurs. Fundamental ideas, such as Yin and Yang, Qi and the relationship between organs, really clicked for me; making sense of an otherwise segregated view of our mind, body and spirit. Alongside Acupuncture, I’m studying Naturopathy, which includes nutrition, Bach Flower Remedies, detoxification and tissue salts. I have a particular interest in mental health and how emotional health affects physical health, but I am continuously amazed at the range of symptoms and pathologies that acupuncture can help with. I grew up in north London, studied Creative Writing at the University of Gloucestershire and have recently moved to Bristol, where I currently work and study. I look forward to working with you in the future.

GOOD NEWS STORY!
We are really pleased to say that after receiving a lovely handwritten letter about period poverty, we got straight onto it and have secured kind donations from Bristol based natural sanitary-ware producer Natracare and are now able to stock our facilities for those that need.
Many thanks to Natracare and many thanks to the young woman who prompted this action for the benefit of women and children using our centre.

SO MANY OATS FOR ONLY 80p! And no plastic 💪
Oats are very Spleen-friendly too. They’re easy to digest for most people, they’re nourishing, energetically warm and sweet, perfect for happy digestion. Avoid pairing with cold foods (energetically and physically) which includes most tropical fruit, such as bananas or mango, or frozen fruit. Try having blackberries, cherries, peaches or raspberries instead.
