I'm involved with a not for profit group called Act For Happiness. They suggest three actions will help you to lead a happier life. Breath. Take deep, calming breaths. Be grateful. Think of those things you are grateful for. And choose someone to send kind thoughts to. Then expand those kind thoughts to cover more. Do these three things each morning as you wake. And be happy.

How is the beginning of the New Year going for you? Did you make any resolutions which have already fallen by the wayside? If so, don't be hard on yourself. Most resolutions are wishful thinking. Instead, take small steps every day towards your goal. As long as you keep moving forward, you're continuing to grow.
