"A Woman's True Purpose: Live Like You Matter" By: Dr. Nicole LaBeach

"Embrace your higher purpose..." If you're not using your God-given gifts to fulfill your purpose, you're robbing the world of the gift you are to humanity! With long to-do lists, responsibilities, ambitious careers and demanding roles, women are often too busy, exhausted, or frustrated to think about what their personal missi

on might be. We have remedies and fix-its for everything under the sun, yet living like we matter seems elusive. The type of living that celebrates a strong spiritual relationship, purpose-driven choices, and personal fulfillment is not what we often choose. Using a groundbreaking technique developed in her coaching practice, Dr. Nicole offers the missing link to help you celebrate the challenges of being a woman and stop standing on the sidelines of your own life. Through a customized seven-step approach, A Woman’s True Purpose promises to promote clarity, understanding, and the removal of obstructions that serve to halt your personal progress. Genuine and heartfelt, Dr. Nicole uses clear examples and thought provoking metaphors, to help you assess where you are and promote movement to where you want to go. A Woman’s True Purpose: Live Like You Matter is an essential tool for women and a compelling guidepost for the journey toward the real you, the fulfilled you, the authentically empowered you."

Who knew an ugly Christmas sweater would change my life? 🎄😂

Scrolling through Facebook Dating, I saw a Black man wearing a festive, slightly cringe-worthy Christmas sweater next to a beautiful tree. Since I love Christmas, I thought, “Why not?” and sent him a like. But here’s the twist — technically, he liked me first, by sending me a heart, so I kindly returned the gesture!

He saw my smile, I saw the sweater. That simple moment sparked a connection that grew into something beautiful and real.

And now, here we are… engaged in our 50s. Let that sink in. 💍✨

Love truly surprises you when you least expect it, and sometimes, it starts with something as silly and sweet as an ugly sweater.

He let me choose it — and that made it even more special.💍✨

After thoughtful advice from his close friends, my fiancé said something simple but powerful:
“I want you to wear what you love.”

So I got to pick the ring that felt like me —
Simple. Elegant. Timeless.
With just enough sparkle to catch the light… and reflect the joy in my heart.

He didn’t just give me a ring.
He gave me the freedom to choose.

That’s the kind of partnership I prayed for.
And that’s the one I said yes to. 💍❤️

Ever heard of the Red String Theory?

It’s the belief that an invisible red thread connects us to the people we’re meant to meet. It might stretch, tangle, or take the long way around — but it never breaks.

Sometimes, life gives you little signs before you even realize it.

We both walked the halls of the same middle school — he lived in New York, and I was only there for a year.

My cousins went to Brooklyn Tech, and without knowing, so did he.

And just like me, he’s from a Caribbean family — the culture, the roots, the values… so many things we quietly shared.

Looking back, God was weaving our stories together in the background all along.

All these connections, all these near-misses — yet here we are.

When the time is right, and when your heart is truly open, the right person shows up. Not a moment sooner, not a moment too late.

The red string never gave up. And neither did God.

Kissing my fiancé every hour on the hour? Don’t mind if I do. 😘

Did you know that a 6-second kiss can actually help strengthen and protect your relationship?
It’s one of those small, intentional moments that helps build connection — and keeps love alive.

It still feels surreal saying “fiancé” out loud — but moments like these are my daily reminder that love finds you when you’re ready to receive it, not when you’re rushing to chase it.

Here’s to making time for kisses, laughter, and all the little things that matter. ❤️
💬 Have you ever thought about how small, intentional moments—like a simple kiss—keep relationships strong?

HARD LAUNCH: I said YES 💍❤️

This post feels surreal to write. For years, I've been blessed to help so many amazing people navigate love, commitment, purpose, and relationships. And, while I've often said, ""Put a ring on it when it's right."" When it came to my own love life, I wasn’t always all in.

When I first signed up for Facebook Dating, I wasn’t playing games — but I wasn’t fully committed either. I told myself I was serious about finding love, but honestly, I wasn’t doing the work. I posted my profile and checked in sporadically, but I wasn’t showing up the way I encourage others to.

It wasn’t until I decided to be truly intentional — to fully engage in the process — that things began to shift. And funny enough, so did my radius settings! 😂 (Shoutout to Phil, who originally only wanted to meet someone within a 5 miles radius from his house. Clearly, we both had some work to do!)

I would often say:
You can absolutely find real love in your 50s!
It’s not too late. It’s not over. And yes, even on Facebook Dating. Now, I'm living it!

Today, I’m sharing this moment simply as a woman who allowed herself to receive the same kind of love and connection she’s always believed for others. 💍

This isn’t just my story. It’s a reminder that love requires showing up — not perfectly, but with an open heart and a little patience.
To anyone out there wondering if their time has passed: it hasn’t. Keep believing, keep showing up. Love meets you when you’re ready.

Thank you for celebrating this chapter with me. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude and can’t wait to share more of this journey with you ❤️

You don’t have to choose between being strong and being held.”

Dr. Nicole speaks a word that every high-achieving woman needs to hear:
God doesn’t just want your praise—He wants your pain, your pause, your process.

💬 “It’s about a safe place… where God wants you to be able to rest, wrestle, and reset.”

Sis, you don’t have to perform here.
You can recover,
You can discover,
You can be nourished.

There is space for your becoming.
And your wellbeing is not optional.

"Just because it’s delayed… doesn’t mean it’s denied."

In this tender moment from the STS Podcast x STSU Let’s Unpack Series, Dr. Nicole reminds us that God is not just watching over your journey—He’s navigating it.

Sometimes the delay is not punishment.
It’s protection.
It’s preparation.
It’s the loving guidance of a Parent who sees beyond what you can.

For every daughter, mentee, or younger you wondering why it hasn’t happened yet…

📍Share this with them. Tag them.
Let them know they’re not behind. They’re just being guided.

“Wrestling with God doesn’t mean you lack faith. Sometimes, it means you finally trust Him enough to be real.”

In this unforgettable moment, Dr. Nicole gives voice to what so many of us feel but rarely say out loud:

You can wrestle and still be worthy.
You can question and still be loved.
You can cry out, break down, and still be seen as faithful.

💬 “I’m not gonna let go until You bless me, God.”

God is not intimidated by your honesty.
He’s just waiting for you to stop talking…
so He can answer.

📍Tag the woman who’s been holding it in.
