THE EARLY DAYS💙
Janica's Story - Our Biliary Atresia Fighter💚

Janica was born with a rare childhood liver disease called biliary atresia, a rare and life-threatening liver disease that affects the bile ducts. We had never heard of it before, but in a matter of days, Our world was turned completely upside down in a matter of moments.
What we thought were just normal baby jaundice quickly turned into something far more serious.At three months old. Janica undergo a major surgery called the Kasai procedure to try to restore bile flow and delay the need for a liver transplant. We are hoping but biliary atresia is relentless. Despite the procedure and daily medications, Janica has continued to face fevers, infections and hospital stays. She’s being evaluated for a life saving liver transplant.
Through everything, Janica has shown us what true strength looks like. She smiles through her pain. She snuggles, giggles, and lights up every room with a spark that defies the illness in her tiny body. But behind that strength is a baby who fights every day just to be here.
We’re sharing Janica’s story not just to raise funds, but to raise hope and awareness and to ask for help in the most vulnerable way a parent can.
