I was making lotion late last week.

Was almost done when I realised I'd made the wrong lotion - standard Moringa Healing Lotion instead of Sensitive Skin lotion

At first I thought maybe I can just change out the ingredient mix, but then it struck me how very different these two products are, so I made both products (of course).

Moringa Healing Lotion for Sensitive Skin has only moringa oil in the oil phase and has realtively more shea butter, so it is a wee but lighter and also a little richer (and of course is fragrance free).

They both have MSM for inflammation reduction and they both work really well in keeping dry skin properly hydrated.

Bonus unrealted to itchiness - crinkly skin gets progressively less crinkled - great for sleeveless summer tops.

Yes, you can use it on your face or head if you want to.

I don't promise full resolution of an itchy skin problem in a week, but it's not unusual to see a huge difference in a couple of days.

Skin takes time to regenerate itself, but it is very good at healing with the right cellular structure in place.

First we stop the itching, then we work our way through the repair process.

It's not just one amazing product - it's a whole healing system complete with a maintenance product to stop the itching coming back.

You might decide to recruit a second product to use alongside Moringa Healing Serum in the instance that you have dry itchy scaly inflamed patches, or inflammation near the eyes or mouth (or for a young child to avoid getting it in their eyes).

Usually, you would apply Moringa Healing Salve first and allow it to melt in before adding a tiny drop of Moringa Healing Serum. However, if inflammation is RAGING (eg TSW), I tend to recommend that you use a cold dry compress for 5 or 10 minutes to chill the skin off, then apply chilled Moringa Healing Serum (from the fridge - it goes a little more solid when cold), allow that to absorb, then layer over with Moringa Healing Salve.

Moringa Healing Lotion isn't used until you have the itching under control. That is step 3 - maintenance.

Remember, the healing path you travel down is determined by whether or not your skin is INFLAMED. The more inflammation is in the skin, the more you will want to rip it off.

Symptomatic Relief From Itching - yes, but also building skin health to guard against future itching, trauma, bacterial ingress.

Think of your skin as the first line of defence from the outside world. You need to have it in tip top shape as you head through the decades, no matter which decade you happen to be in now.

It blows me away that the medical industry - all those very smart people - continue to say that steroids are the only option for dermatitis/itchy skin and that dermatitis, eczema etc can not be resolved.

It's just not true.

It also blows my mind that the (best) solution literally grows on trees.

Obviously there's a bit of work involved getting it out of the trees and into the bottles, but it works!

It's natural, organic and amazing.
