A success story: Michael Johnson (no not the famous one) used to buy lots of 2 liters of pop each time he went to the grocery store. He drank them throughout the week like most people drink water. He had heard about the idea of removing just one thing from his diet that might be causing weight gain. He decided to start drinking low calorie flavored water. Over a year's time, he lost 30 lbs. He is now looking at his diet to see what he wants to eliminate next. Way to go Michael.

If anyone has a success story where they have lost weight without counting carbs, calories, fats, points, etc. and would like to share, feel free to post in comments or message me.

A success story: JoAnn Ludwig has all but cured herself of diabetes by educating herself and significantly decreasing her carb intake. She has been a diabetic for 50 years and developed health complications mostly as a result of the diabetes. At one point, she was taking 40 units of short acting insulin a day and struggling to keep her glucose levels under 200. She weighed over 200 lbs. She currently weighs 135 lbs. She is taking a low dose of glyburide that she is about to cut in half. Her glucose levels are testing at 111. Her first wake up call was that “it is ok to be hungry”. She is 85 years old and getting stronger and better every day.

In using the Carb Manager app, I never record the weight I have gained or gained back. I only record weight I have lost beyond the previous recorded weight on the app. This is a psychological thing for me. That way when I see the weight graph, I only see the graph going down.

I am shocked and pleased by all the follows. Thank you so much! It just proves that I am not the only one who wants to lose weight without having to count calories, carbs, points, or anything else. I also do not want to feel deprived. Obviously, those methods work (at least as long as you continue using them). I, and a lot of other people, have lost weight using those methods. But honestly, I just don't have it in me to do that anymore or again. I have been making some progress unexpectedly. So I want to share what I have been doing.
1. I downloaded the free carb manager from the google play store. I wanted to have a place to keep track of my weight. And I wanted to identify foods that might be keeping the weight in place, more specifically, foods that were not Keto friendly. I scanned my food for a couple of weeks. This gave me the information I needed to make some adjustments to the types of foods I was eating.
2. I also started rubbing castor oil on my belly and in my belly button. I had heard that it aids in digestion and decreases belly fat.
3. I continue to do intermittent fasting where I only eat between the hours of 11 am to 8 pm.
4. I continue to use reality shifting tools that assist in eliminating limiting beliefs and aids in purposeful creation.

So far, these methods have been working so well that I find myself unexpectedly pleasantly surprised by the results!
