Essential oils and Aromatherapy and Essential Oils are combined and added to services for their very beneficial healing properties. Essential Oils benefit mind and body through first your olfactory sense and the oce topically applied. I offer gentle skin re-surfacing, Microdermabrasion which aids in deeper exfoliation, cell turnover and renewal. Glycolic peels which refine, tone and smooth the skin. Micro Current is also a wonderful addition to any facial for its toning and tightening effects on the skin and the muscles below. Like a workout for your face!! Custom blends and products are used in Facials, Pedicures as well as the Massage, Champissage (Head massage) and Reflexology services. With a more clinical background in Foot Care, and trained in Podology, Level 4 I am able to offer a much more advanced Foot Care service which help in prevent and treat foot conditions.

It's been a hot minute!
The goal on a day, like today, is hydration! Drinking plenty of water is always important. Plain water filters right out, so if you're looking for something that will be refreshing and hydrate your cells, try making a simple homemade electrolyte drink.

RECIPE:

2 cups filtered water (or coconut water for extra potassium)
I like to do 1 cup of water and 1 cup of coconut water.

1/4 tsp sea salt or Himalayan pink salt (for sodium and trace minerals)

1/4 cup fresh orange juice or lemon juice (for flavor, vitamin C, and potassium)
I like lime juice in mine!

1–2 tsp raw honey or maple syrup (for natural glucose and taste)

If you wanted to make this into a cocktail or mocktail: Rim glass with citrus, rim with salt, or tajin and garnish with a lime! Toasted coconut shreds for that extra touch.
Serve chilled on ice

Renewal never ends. It evolves. The same goes with making the choice to cleanse either on a yearly or seasonal time time-line. I find the more you do, the easier it gets to prioritize making choices that make you feel good and align with your health and wellness goals!
Here is a recipe for an exfoliating DIY body scrub:

1/2 cup fine sea salt or pink Himalayan salt

1/4 cup carrier oil
Options: jojoba, sweet almond, olive, or grapeseed)

A few drops of essential oil Options: lavender, grapefruit, or peppermint.

Add a little dried herb like rosemary or chamomile if desired. I personally don't add anything else, I like to keep it simple.

Use in the shower with gentle, circular motions—especially on arms, legs, and feet. Rinse, pat dry, and follow with your favorite body oil or lotion

A little spring cleanse and renewal pal of mine!

This zesty blend of ginger, pineapple, lemon, and turmeric delivers a powerful burst of antioxidants, supports digestion, and helps fight inflammation. Perfect as a morning boost or a daily cleanse companion!

You can buy this in stores absolutely, but it's much more cost-effective to make yourself.

Here's what I used:

Ginger - 4 to 6 inch pieces
Half a pineapple - skin removed, but keep the core!
4 lemons
Skin /peel on or remove your choice.
Turmeric - 1 to 2 inches or dried and powdered 1 tbsp.
Pinch of black pepper.
I & 1/2 cup water
Honey or maple syrup if desired.

Note: I prefer to buy organic produce.

Wash all produce, prep fruit, and citrus. If you’re using fresh tumeric, you'll add to blend. If you use powder, wait until the end and add it to the strained mixture. Set aside your desired sweetener, add all of the ingredients to a good blender, and blend until smooth. Pour over a fine metal strainer or into a nut milk bag to strain.
The amount of water and sweetener you add is up to what you prefer in texture and taste!
Jar and store. This makes several jars, I keep one in the fridge for about 5 days and freeze the rest and use as needed.

Glow Green Smoothie:
