It was like something else had taken over me


The rage didn’t build slowly.
It came from nowhere.
Like a switch flicked and I was gone.

I’d tell myself, “Don’t say it
 don’t react
”
But it was like watching it all happen from outside my body.
The words would come flying out, sharp, loud, full of heat ..
And then it was too late.

I didn’t recognise myself anymore.
I felt taken over.
And when it passed, the shame would hit just as hard.
The guilt.
The tears.
The urge to hide from everyone
 even myself.

Who even am I right now?
That question haunted me.

No one warned me that this could be perimenopause.
That rage, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm could knock you off your feet

That I could feel so out of control in my own body.

And the worst part?
I thought I had to hide it.
Hold it in.
Carry on smiling.

The shame ... the self hatred ... the impact on the people around me ...😱

No one spoke about this. .. this wasnt hot sweats .. this was destroying me slowly and everyone around me

But what helped me wasn't pretending I was fine .. it was reaching out ... for help

Hyonotherapy helped me understand what was really going on underneath. It helped me to release the tension, shame and guilt I’d been holding, and to meet the anger with compassion instead of shame.

Hypnohealing gave me a way to calm and heal my nervous system,

I started to feel more grounded.
More in control.
More like me.

Now, I help other women do the same.
Because you’re not broken.
You’re not a bad person.
And you’re not alone.

There was a time I couldn’t think straight for the life of me.
The brain fog from perimenopause was something else.
I’d start a sentence and forget what I was even saying halfway through.
Everything felt harder than it should’ve.

I didn’t feel like myself.
I felt tired all the time, mentally and physically, like I was running on empty.
And joy? That felt like a distant memory.

But one day, in the middle of all that, I was in the shower,
and I felt this tiny spark in my chest.
Just for a second. A little fizz of joy.
And then it was gone.
But that one second reminded me I was still in there somewhere.

That moment gave me hope.
And from there, I started finding my way back to myself.

Now I help other women do the same, gently and with no pressure.
Through hypnotherapy and calming emotional tools, I support women through burnout, illness, and the rollercoaster of peri and menopause.

You don’t have to push through.
You don’t have to do it all.
You just need some space to breathe
 and someone to remind you that you haven’t lost yourself.

You’re still in there.
And joy isn’t gone, it’s just been waiting.

The average person has between 50 000 and 70 000 thoughts a day. 80% of those are negative. We are naturally in hypnosis most of the day and therefore those negative thoughts are going straight to our subconscious minds, and reinforcing our negative self limiting beliefs.
