Yoga by Becks Hi there, my name is Becks :) I'm a yoga teacher specialising in vinyasa, restorative and yin yoga as well as pregnancy & postnatel yoga.

A reminder for those that need it - Your yoga practice doesn’t always need to be on a mat. It can be found in the smallest, simplest of moments. As I tell my students, the real practice is bringing what we learn on the mat into everyday 💛

Taking a moment to pause, a moment of stillness and quiet. Feeling your feet on the floor when you walk, noticing the sounds around you. Taking a few deep breaths when you notice feelings of stress creep up and into your shoulders, neck and jaw.

The biggest part of the journey is noticing. Noticing when your thoughts and actions are on autopilot. Notice when you click on a social media app without even thinking about it. Notice your thoughts when you first wake up. Notice all the multi tasking that you do in a day - all the things that make us human. But remembering that we can also pause. And to be able to pause, we first need to notice.

Providing yoga in your workspace comes with numerous of benefits.

Companies that provide yoga for their staff, help their employees manage stress, improve their mood, focus and productivity. As well as reduce the risk of burnout, which can also cut the cost of sick days.

It’s a wonderful way to relax and unwind after (or during) a busy day allowing employees to recharge and return to work feeling refreshed and energised.

It can also be a great way for staff to bond and build relationships inside and outside the office creating a more harmonious workspace between colleagues
