Rural Sight is coming back to town! this time the clinic will be at the Health Building in Q'aLaTku7eM, this clinic is open to community members of Skatin and Samahquam.

After your eye exam, if necessary, you'll have the opportunity to select your new frames and order your glasses the same day, then they will be shipped to the SSHS office for distribution or pick up.

Please bring your Care Card Number and Status Number to access your benefits. If you're unsure about your benefits, please reach out to Julia to see how we can sort that out.

Job Posting: Health Response and Care Advocate

About the role:
The Health Response and Care Advocate will assist in fulfilling the requirements of the Home and Community Care Program by providing a coordinated community-based health care service that providescommunity members of all ages with disabilities, chronic or acute illnesses and the elderly to receive the care they need in their homes and communities. The Advocate will assist community members with health problems and navigating the health care system including working with doctors, nurses, allied health professionals, and other SSHS team members.
