Hearing loss is on the rise and it is more common than you think. Loud sounds can damage your ears, leading to hearing loss or ringing in the ears (tinnitus).

Tips to protect your hearing and care for your ears:

✅ Get regular hearing check-ups
✅ Use assistive technology if recommended
✅ Request a hearing test for your children or anyone above age 50

Hindi lamang pagkalunod o aksidente ang banta ng baha—mapanganib din ito dahil madumi. Ang maruming tubig ay maaaring magtaglay ng mga mikrobyo mula sa basura, ihi, at dumi ng hayop na nagdudulot ng sakit tulad ng leptospirosis.

💡 Tandaan:

✅ Agad na maghugas ng katawan gamit ang tubig at sabon kung ikaw ay nabasa ng baha.
✅ Kung may sugat, mas mataas ang panganib kaya’t huwag ipagsawalang-bahala.
✅ Kumonsulta agad sa doktor kung nakaranas ng sintomas.

👉 Maging ligtas at iwas-sakit. Protektahan ang sarili at pamilya laban sa panganib ng baha.

On the front lines of disaster relief.

Dr. Carleone L. Borda, Municipal Health Officer and the midwives of each barangays were conducting visit, and providing essential medical care to the residents affected by the Bagyong Tino.

The Municipal Health Office is working together with the Brgy. Officials to bring hope and healing to the evacuees. Every check-up, every medicine distributed makes a difference in helping the community.

Dr. Carleone L. Borda, Municipal Health Officer, visited 18 Barangays of the Municipality of Pavia evacuation centers, The Pavia National Highschool and Barangay Health Stations to conduct health checkups and distribute essential medicines.

Remember to contact your midwife or any medical team located at your nearest barangay if you are sick and need medical attention.
