I know what it’s like to be busy, stressed, and feeling those daily aches and pains from work and life. Before I became a yoga and Pilates instructor, I was working as an employment lawyer in London. Long days at a desk, no time for myself, and a body that constantly felt stiff, tired, and completely out of balance. I started making small, smart changes that made a big difference:

✔️ A lunchtime Pilates class
✔️ Short bursts of yoga whenever I could
✔️ Simple shifts in mindset and nutrition

I didn’t need hours in the gym or complicated routines. I just needed to move smarter, fuel better, and take care of myself properly. I felt stronger, more energised, more focused — and people noticed. That’s exactly why I created The Core Queen Method — to help people like the old me:

Yoga isn’t just about poses or flexibility—it’s about shifting how we experience life from within.

Your wellbeing is the foundation for everything else. Trust me when I say that if you prioritise your wellbeing and look after YOU everything else works so much better.

Your to-do list can wait. Your inbox will still be there.
But you — your wellbeing — must come first.

Why? Because everything else depends on how well you feel in your body and your mind. When I feel good and honour my wellbeing, I show up to work better, I am more productive and focused. I am a better Mum, a better partner, a better daughter, a better teacher, a better friend. Self-care is not selfish, it's a necessity. I bet you if you asked your loved ones would they rather an hour of a happy well you or a few hours of a meh you, they will take the hour of a happy well you every time!

Almonds!!! They are pretty special and deserve a spot in your daily diet. Sometimes it’s nice to have a reminder about how the things we eat can really benefit us. Here are some of the science-backed benefits of almonds:

✔️Natural source of vitamin E, which protects your cells from oxidative stress… so supports healthy skin, cells and recovery 👌
✔️Full of good fats, fibre and plant-protein- which nourish your body, supports your brain function, and satiety.
✔️Shown to help lower bad cholesterol and support a healthy heart ❤️
✔️Rich in magnesium- key for energy and muscle function 💪🏻
✔️Helps prevent type II diabetes by regulating blood sugar - studies showed they help support insulin sensitivity ☺️

They are also low FODMAP in small amounts so they are great for my ibs. I tend to have a small handful with a banana as a snack to balance the blood sugar from the bananas. I add them to my healthy cakes and protein bars, bliss balls… sprinkle on salad or veggies to add some crunch. Almond butter stuffed inside a medjool dates is d e l i c i o u s!
