I wanted to reach out and share something you may find interesting for your practice. I've recently started working with LifeWave, the makers of the X39 patch — a non-transdermal patch designed to stimulate the body’s own healing systems through photobiomodulation (PBM). The patch works by reflecting specific wavelengths of light back into the skin, which in turn activates copper peptide GHK-Cu, known for its regenerative properties.

📄 Key Clinical Studies on LifeWave X39 Patches

🔬 Double-Blind Study: Increases in GHK-Cu Peptide

Design: 60 participants, randomized and placebo-controlled
Findings: Statistically significant increase in GHK-Cu levels in those using X39 for 7 days

🔬 Pilot Study: Physiological and Metabolic Effects of X39

Design: 15 participants measured over 7 days
Findings: Notable metabolic and peptide changes indicating systemic activation
Metabolic Implications of LifeWave X39 Patch (PDF)
🔬 Cognitive & Biofield Pilot Study (6 Weeks)

Design: Observation of brain function and biofield response
Findings: Statistically significant improvements in energy balance and focus

💡 What Is Photobiomodulation (PBM)?

Photobiomodulation is the use of light (typically red or near-infrared) to stimulate cellular activity. It works primarily by enhancing mitochondrial function and increasing ATP production — helping reduce inflammation, promote tissue repair, and support systemic healing.

Though the X39 patch doesn’t emit light itself, it reflects specific wavelengths of body heat (infrared) to trigger similar cellular responses — without drugs or chemicals.

Covers applications in tissue repair, pain relief, wound healing, and more
Photobiomodulation: Mechanisms and Evidence Overview – Cleveland Clinic Health Essentials
Offers a detailed look at how red and infrared light impact cellular function
✅ Why This May Be Relevant to Your Practice

Drug-free, non-invasive, and easy to integrate alongside holistic therapies
Studies show systemic changes in less than a week of use
Aligns with functional medicine principles — supporting the body’s natural healing pathways
If you're curious to learn more or would like a sample study packet, just let me know. I’d love to share more about how this could complement your current approach.

If you're interested there will be a live Zoom call to introduce you to the X39 Wellness Patch and the business opportunities involved with it, and I wanted to invite you along.

Did you know that the amount of nutrition you get from your food can be largely dependent on if the food is consumed raw or cooked. The B vitamins and vitamin C are heat sensitive so cooking can significantly reduce these vitamins, whereas the fat soluble vitamins A, D, E and K tend to be more bioavailable when cooked, although there are many exceptions to this rule. Vitamin D tends to be reduced with cooking, with the exception of fish where a slight increase has been seen. The level of nutrient loss varies between food stuffs and cooking method. Eggs have a loss of approximately 15% when boiled or scrambled, and a loss of around 60% when baked. Mushrooms lose between 12 – 38% of its vitamin D when cooked.
