Just remember, when your are down you feel that everyone is analysing you. When you’re up, you actually realise that no one gives a hoot, so don’t worry what people think and do what feels right to you, but just make sure your are emotionally aware of others.

Through our darkest times we gain strength, even if we don’t realise it.

The strongest people I know have had mental hiccups and what makes these people even more awesome, they have awareness of others and appreciation of others difficulties. We are all awesome to acknowledge we’ve been down at some point. Onwards and upwards.

Like your views guys. What level of help should you give to a parent with a severe illness? Is it your responsibility to care for them freezing your life for them or have the guilt of professionals giving them the care whilst you carry on!

So 32 nights away, in a camper van, what have I learnt?
1) you need to work as a team.
2) your influence on your kids is nothing compared to the influence of their friends.
3) I preferred hanging with my family than going to work.
4) I will put strangers emotions over my own and families. i.e. worry if I’m driving to slow rather than I’m protecting my family driving this speed.
5) there is other ways to live in this country other than the 5am alarm and commute
6) we don’t need a lot to be happy, the kids had a bag of toys for a month.
7) the world keeps turning. I could leave tomorrow and the only real effect it will have is on my family. So what’s truly important.
8) everyone has a story
9) doesn’t matter who you are you all look normal washing the dishes.

Love my fam a lam.

Tough life of a 6 year old.

Do I tell my daughter, who wants to be a boy, that society will only leave you alone if you conform to what is the norm. Or leave her to defend herself, have this emotional rollercoaster now and become cold to negative views of others and become a strong women who number one priority is to love who she is rather than care what people think. Its a lesson that can take a life time but if your lucky you could get it by 7. Love you baby.

This changed my outlook on stress.

Stress. It makes your heart pound, your breathing quicken and your forehead sweat. But while stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that to be the case. Psychologist Kelly McGonigal urges us to see stress as a positiv...

Yesterday was a testament of a true team with no superheroes that work as one and trust their boss and he trusts them.
