“What if it all worked out?”

These last 3 weeks have been interesting. First, I fell down my stairs while trying to film a reel for a social media (I know! 🤦‍♀️).

Then I found out I have a triple fracture (2 of them shown below) and have to have surgery.

Followed by 2 weeks of being in my bed 𝟗𝟎% 𝒐𝒇 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒅𝒂𝒚 with my foot elevated above my heart.

And do you know what discovered?

❤️‍🩹 I have so many wonderful people in my life who care about me.

❤️‍🩹 The world will not end if all my chores are not done.

❤️‍🩹 It’s okay to take a break when you need it.

Did I need this reminder? I guess so!

90% of the people I work with are women who are so heavily scheduled and overwhelmed that they just can’t /don’t take time for themselves.

Maybe this was the lesson: not only 𝒄𝒂𝒏 you take a timeout, you NEED to. If not, you might be forced to 😂❤️
