Mission Veterinary Hospital was established in 1988 and we have continued to raise the bar in quality veterinary care. Our up-to-date medical equipment has allowed us to offer the most advanced, least-invasive diagnostic and treatment modalities for our patients. We are a 5 doctor mixed practice, which means we see both large and small animals. We offer in-house blood profiles, digital radiography

, ultrasound, telemedicine, and video endoscopy....all which allow our doctors to diagnose and treat our patients in a more effective and timely manner. Some of our rave reviews:

🐾 Welcome Home, Dr. Garza! 🐾

We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Janessa Garza to the Mission Veterinary Hospital family!

A Mission native, Dr. Garza grew up bringing her pets right here to MVH—and even spent countless hours with us as a pre-vet student. Now, she returns to her hometown not just as a familiar face, but as a licensed veterinarian, ready to serve the community that inspired her journey. 💛

Dr. Garza earned her degree in Biomedical Sciences with a minor in Public Health from Texas A&M and went on to complete her veterinary training at the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Her clinical interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, feline medicine, and preventative care. She’ll be seeing both small and large animals—so your pets are in compassionate, capable hands!

When she’s not in the clinic, you can find her reading, crafting, traveling, and spending time with her two adorable cats, Heidi and Poppy.
