We can be guilty of overcomplicating things when it comes to our diets…

Social media sometimes doesn’t help...

So here is a simple checklist for you to keep in mind when you’re trying to improve your gut health….

Of course, some people will need more specialised advice (eg those suffering from ibs) and we highly recommend you seek individualised professional help if that is you…

But for most, if you can honestly say you're getting these things into your diet *most* days, you're off to a great start!

It’s easy to get wrapped up in the marketing and promises of a quick fix for gut health…

But the reality is, most people could do with adjusting just a few of the basics first…

It’s the kind of stuff that you hear from a very young age…eat your veggies…drink water…don’t eat too much sugar etc etc

But it’s also really important to manage your stress levels, move your body, and get out in nature (where you’ll pick up extra microbes!)…

You know that good gut health is super important…But do you know how you can tell what state your gut health is in?

There are quite a few ways…and expensive microbiome testing (for most people) is not really necessary!

1. Check your p**p - Like a window into your gut health, check out the Bristol stool chart (included in our online course) and compare…Which number are you?
2. Think about your diet - Your diet is the easiest way to change your gut health… Is your diet feeding all your good gut microbes?
3. Take a note of your mood - Are you often miserable? Anxious? Whilst it’s a bit of a ‘chicken/egg’ scenario, your gut health is impacted by your mood… More on that in our course…
