Our colleagues from Croatia took an inspiring step in support of women’s health by organising a awareness campaign in one of the largest shopping malls in Dalmatia.

Through this meaningful initiative, they not only raised awareness about the importance of early detection and regular , but also shared information about Affidea’s preventive services and support programs available to women in the community.

The event brought together our colleagues, healthcare professionals, and mall visitors — all united by one goal: to spread knowledge, promote , and show solidarity with women affected by .

1 in 6 people in Europe are affected by neurological conditions, a growing challenge that impacts not only patients but also their families and caregivers. Among the most complex ones are neurodegenerative disorders such as Dementia and Alzheimer’s Disease, conditions that profoundly affect memory, independence, and quality of life.

At Affidea, we are committed to advancing care for these patients by supporting the development of new therapies and treatments through clinical research. Each study represents a step forward in improving , understanding disease progression, and providing access to novel treatments that could slow or ease the burden of these conditions.

In this spirit, Prof. Jacek Staszewski and his team at Affidea neuraCare Warsaw are currently enrolling patients in two major international studies, with further indications to start in the coming months:
1️⃣ A Phase 3 study on the Treatment of Agitation in Participants with Dementia of the Alzheimer’s Type
2️⃣ A Phase 3 study in patients with early Alzheimer’s Disease (from mild cognitive impairment to mild dementia due to AD)

“Participating in these studies allows patients to receive access to new treatment options under close medical supervision, while also contributing to scientific progress that will shape the future of care and bring hope to many families affected by these conditions. Our goal is to translate research into real clinical benefit, improving outcomes and quality of life for patients and their families,” said Prof. Jacek Staszewski, Medical Director of neuraCare Warsaw.

In Affidea, is more than a process, it’s deeply embedded into our culture. Affidea's Quality Managers from across 15 countries came together in Rome to turn that belief into action, shaping a shared vision of how quality can truly drive better patient , and .

Over two days of collaboration and reflection, our teams explored what it means to lead with quality, not as a checklist, but as a culture. From creating safe spaces for reporting and learning without blame, to showing how quality can act as a key driver of patient satisfaction while embedding continuous improvement through Ideagen’s Quality Management System, every discussion pointed in the same direction: quality is the heart of true care.

As part of our commitment to bring closer to the community, we continue to expand our network of community-based polyclinics, ensuring that high-quality medical services are accessible, personalised, and designed around the needs of every individual.

In line with this mission, Affidea Spain has opened a new in Madrid, Infanta Mercedes 13, a modern facility offering comprehensive, patient-centred care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

The new centre features a wide range of medical specialties, together with advanced diagnostic such as DEXA, Ultrasound, Mammography, as well as aesthetic medicine and day surgery. Equipped with cutting-edge technology and supported by a highly qualified team of professionals, this centre was created to deliver efficient, and that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.

Last week in Valencia, Spain, Affidea Medical Council 2025 brought together our Clinical Leadership Community from 15 countries and the Medical Advisory Board members for two days of deep exchange and bold thinking about the future of .

“Every year, the Medical Council brings our multispecialty clinical leaders together to share ideas that shape the way we care for patients. With a double-digit million-euro investment, the first flagship Affidea neuraCare centre opened in Athens, Greece, setting the model for a European rollout with planned locations including Warsaw and London.
