Attn: All Pharmacists

The Moviment Vuci Ghall-Ispizjara is urging all pharmacists especially those practicing in community pharmacy to attend the EGM this evening.

We have been listening attentively and tabling everything being said. Following our insistence to make sure a meeting is held with all pharmacists not just license holders, the chamber has called on this EGM to discuss Domcilliary Distribution.

The discussion that will take place will be of great importance and may affect future practices.

The Moviment Vuci Ghall- Ispizjara would like all concerned to voice out any concerns on the subject this evening. The discussion should be held between all of us as colleagues, and any decision taken, taken only by pharmacists.

The Moviment Vuci Ghall- Ispizjara is also still waiting for the legal implications that these decisions may have on the profession. Prior to any such information being presented by the competent authority, the Medicines authority, No Vote should be taken!

Moviment Vuci Ghall-Ispizjara is pleased to have been working over the past months towards the implementation of various proposals submitted as part of our campaign manifesto.

Today, after collaborative efforts over past months we have successfully submitted a consultation document called '' Pharmacy Opening Hours - A proposal for Sundays and Public Holiday ''

The document is being made public for everyone to view.

A reminder to all Pharmacists practicing in the various sectors of pharmacy in Malta and in Gozo, that tomorrow 6th March 2015 is the deadline to renew your warrant as stipulated by The Pharmacy Council. If anyone has not received the email or the respective details kindly send us a private message and we will send you the information we received.

Congratulations to the amazing group of pharmacists in Moviment Vuci Ghall-Ispizjara. It feels awesome being part of our professions' history, may we move stronger and vociferous in the best interest of Pharmacy. Marisabelle Bonnici you are a champ, an inspiring woman and a sincere friend. I am honoured to have shared this election with you and proud of our success. Thank you to all the team for all the restless nights, enthusiasm and energy, Sarah Mifsud Janis Vella Valerie Vella Corinne Elbourne, you kept me going. You are all winners. Thank you to all the pharmacists that believe in the common good and offered so much of their time to prepare the campaign. Teamwork at its best.

I personally would like to congratulate my opponent Ms. Maryanne Sant Fournier for her success in this election and all the candidates elected in our New Executive Council. May we learn from today that we are only strong together and that resolve comes through communication and dialogue.

Good luck to all our pharmacist friends and colleagues, the candidates contesting the election for the Executive Council of the Chamber of Pharmacy.

It has been a great week of hard work, dialogue and discussion that has spanned across all the sectors of pharmacy. People have started to talk to each other again and all in the best interest of our profession. We look forward to the positive days that lay ahead when everyone is working side-by-side together

Moviment Vuci Ghall-Ispizjara would like to appeal to all members of The Chamber of Pharmacy to primarily attend and participate and secondly to do so in Peace, Humility and Collaboration. Confrontation is a thing of the past! It only creates distance. Let us work on restoring UNITY amongst us all in our Chamber and in all our sectors.

Let us together enjoy this democratic electoral process and be proud of being part of our history.
