Personal Revolt We all broadcast a unique channel that is received by others and the world. What R U putting out? Tune In, Clear it, Turn it ON, SAVE THE PLANET.

WELCOME TO YOUR PERSONAL REVOLT! Welcome, I'm Robyn Davis, creator of Personal Revolt, a simple system and practice for your spirituality, productivity & sanity. I'm not a certified coach or therapist, but certain demographics may find me certifiable! ;)

I'm a Mom, a Photographer/Artist/Designer, Social Impact Revolutionary and a total goofball. I believe the most important work we can d

o right now, and have a responsibility to do, is on ourselves. It's our primary mission, to figure out who we are, why we came here and how to function in this human suit! My journey so far has been beautiful, nutso, scary, dark, exhilarating and often magical. I've been through some seriously crazy stuff and survived very dark days — this practice was born of those experiences and is such an important part of my own OS and functioning that I wanted to share it with others who need it. The Manifesto, basically, is in the tagline: Tune in. Clear your signal. Turn on. Save the Planet. Personal Revolt is a page based on a simple but powerful 7-Day weekly practice/OS that is totally customizable to YOU and YOUR own Personal Revolt. It is an amalgam of ancient practices, personal growth tools and tips and on-the-fly spirit-guided messages. Are you ready to revolt and (RE)BOOT your whole program? Each of us is having their very own revolt, yet we're doing it together. We all broadcast a channel and we should think very carefully about what we put out as content. Things will change just as they should if we all simply clean up our own act and start playing nicer with others too. And by "clearing your signal," it will just MAKE you nicer. You'll be happier. You won't even have to try. SO THAT'S BASICALLY IT. But in this simplicity, it is likely that miracles are about to happen. For real. A REVOLTING PRACTICE & SCHEDULE:

MONDAY : : MINDFUL MONDAY (tune in)
Be here. Be present. Begin your week in walking mindful meditation, noticing all that is around you. Watch the spoon go round and round, stirring your coffee and how cool it looks as the cream turns from white circles into an even caramel color. It has the same effect as meditation on your monkey mind, so stop making excuses that you REALLY are going to get serious soon about doing more meditation. Do it while you fold the laundry, instead of the grocery list in your head. Just fold, fold, fold and feel the fabric. Just a few minutes can bring you back to center and get you out of the messy, dusty attic and downstairs where the party is going on. Observe people and their interactions. Look into the eyes of others and truly being present when you engage. Really listen to what someone is saying to you and appreciate it and take it in rather than thinking of what you are going to say in response or that their new haircut is kind of weird. It's a muscle that gets stronger, more quickly than you think, and soon you will operate this way without effort. Dedicate the day to being here NOW. TUESDAY : : TUNE-UP TUESDAY (tune in)
Give some thought to who you are. Dig deep in there about what is feeding you, making you grow and bringing you joy. Also give some serious thought to what is draining you in your life. Don't focus on solving it or beating yourself up. Simply stop and check in. For now, just look inward and pay attention to your feelings, good or bad, as they arise. Note them. Look for patterns. Get below the surface, to the core, and begin to think of ways to increase the feeding and decrease the draining. If you're not full, you got nuthin' to pour out for others, much less your own sorry self. WEDNESDAY: WASH-UP WEDS (clear)
Okay, enough lollygagging and thinking about yourself and figuring it out. Time to pull that messy crap out of the closet and deal with it! Just grab one thing that's bugging you, slowing you down, or eating at you because it's unfinished business. Doesn't matter if it's just paying that parking ticket -- listen to the nagging voices and feelings that are poking you. Clean something, anything, off your plate today and it will feel lighter and so much better. I promise. If you can't clean up your own crap, how you gonna help clean up this planet? Let's do this. THURSDAY: TRUTHIN’ THURSDAY (clear your signal)
Ahhhh, the truth! There’s a very good reason for the saying “The truth hurts,” right? Sometimes it does. But there’s also the saying “The truth will set you free.” Both are, well, TRUE. While opinions and personal preference may differ, I maintain that the truth is the truth. Your personal truths and universal truth that has not changed since the beginning of time with regard to what is right and what is wrong — and what we should do to maintain and live by it. Make today about facing the truth. The truth of who you are. Of what is going on around you in the world and what you should do about it. Look at the real truth about what or who is keeping your light dimmed, even if that is YOU (usually the case, no?). The term “Truthin” comes from a line in one of my favorite songs by Nancy Sinatra, “These Boots Were Made for Walkin’” and it goes like this…You keep lyin’ when you oughtta be truthin’ — I think the entire song can probably be sung to your higher self, with regard to facing the truth and clearing your signal and START WALKIN’! Oh, Nancy, such a Sage! :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SbyAZQ45uww

FRIDAY: Friday Myday (Turn On)
Happy Friday! Celebrate your hard work this week and share it. Shine your unique light and you and everyone else get to bask in its glow and the gifts you receive from seeing the world from an illuminated vantage point. Think about ways you can walk the walk of what you believe. Perform random acts of kindness. Be creative. Surprise someone. Ride your bike to work like you've been planning to do all week but haven't. Whatever. Shine, shine, shine -- you are magnificent and we need you! SATURDAY: STP SATURDAY (Save The Planet) -- Save the Planet, Save the People, See the People, Sing to People, Sit (on) the Porch, Shop the Products (Local, Independent, Handmade)...you get the idea! Live and purchase and act with intention to serve Divine Mother, in ways big and small. They all matter. Just do that. Yeah. SUNDAY: Soulful Sunday (tune in) -- post Sat Evening. I no longer want to post on Sunday, reserving that day for family, friends and soulful chill time and a Social Media-free Diet
Tune in and feed, feed, feed your soul. Do nothing. Or do something that brings you total joy and/or flow. The Dalai Lama spends five months of the year meditating so he can spend the rest of the year giving, teaching and kicking some spiritual ass all day, every day for the following 7 months. I've dedicated the same percentage of days here at the Revolt for same. He seems to know what he's doing.
