📍 Bella Coola, BC

Cedar Pathways Support Services Inc. is currently seeking a Casual Support Worker to join our team immediately.

This role involves working with diverse individuals with varying needs, both in supported living environments and in the community, as well as at our center-based program.

Duties include:
✔ Supporting daily living skills (cooking, cleaning, shopping)
✔ Assisting with hygiene and personal care as required
✔ Supporting individuals to build independence
✔ Transportation and support for appointments and community activities
✔ Facilitating group activities, socialization, and recreation at our center-based program

Position details:
• Casual position
• Hours range from 0–40 hours per week
• Must be reliable and flexible

Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license, own vehicle, and driver’s abstract
• Clean Criminal Record Check
• First Aid & CPR preferred
• References required

Our thoughts and heartfelt prayers are with the children, families, staff, first responders, and everyone affected by this tragic event. In times like these, the strength and unity of our community mean everything. We stand together in support of the families impacted and encourage anyone who is able to help in any way they can, especially in easing financial stress throughout the long healing process. We just completed our first week of support at our new day center (Bella Coola Adventist School). On behalf of our clients and staff, Cedar Pathways Support Services would like to thank the Seventh Day Adventist organization and volunteers for allowing us to utilize their amazing facilities for our program! We are extremely grateful for our wonderful clients, staff and volunteers that have helped us along the way thus far.
