💚September is NICU Awareness Month. (NICU stands for Neonatal Intensive Care Unit). This month gives us the opportunity to honor the tiniest fighters and the families by their side. At CMC, our NICU Department is supported by a multidisciplinary team including neonatologists, nurses specialized in neonatology, and pediatric pedagogical guides, working together to provide the highest quality of care.

All appointments and services at CMC will continue as scheduled. Patients with appointments today may attend as planned.

At 7:00 AM, CMC will transition from generator power to Aqualectra’s main power grid.

Any changes will be promptly communicated.

Continuity of Care at CMC

Willemstad, August 27th 10pm - Curaçao Medical Center (CMC) continues operating on generators, with power being prioritized and distributed to all essential departments.

All appointments including outpatient clinic visits, treatments, and surgeries are expected to resume tomorrow. However, we will continue to closely monitor the situation and will provide a final confirmation to the public by 5:30 AM tomorrow morning.

We ask patients who are scheduled for early-morning surgeries to proceed with their check-in as planned, unless otherwise notified.

CMC appreciates the community’s understanding as we navigate this situation.
