For me, life changed dramatically when i started seeing it all in terms of energy.

Seeing myself as a body enlivened with life force energy that can be given and received freely in all of my choices and interactions

And i started paying attention to how i felt after certain conversations, activities, after choices of friends, of partners, of movement and work and foods, places, even certain thoughts or beliefs.

And i realised... every choice is a step towards higher energetic capacity, or further away.

And when i realised that, I remembered... if im not intentional with my actions and my thoughts and my boundaries, i can freely hand out my life force like cookies to the hungry kids.

If I am focused, I can actively cultivate more of it to direct towards the things I want more of.

And our erotic energy is key to this awakening; it is our life force - the very essence of our existence. It is our creative power, powerful enough to create life! And so much more. It is always present, always alive, and always available.

Most of us are not educated in how to cultivate and apply our erotic energy to empower our growth, transformation and creativity.

When we attune to our natural cycles, desires and instincts, we harness the innate wisdom of our wombs, and to embody and trust our passions.

When we know ourselves more deeply, we discover that our pleasure holds the secret keys to our purpose.

Consciously exploring sexuality not only helps us to understand our subconscious programming, it leads us to an unlimited source of energy that flows from the heart of creation - with the power to alchemise every area of our existence.

Its my birthday!

This one feels like an ultra special one. HOME and ALBUM completion all at once.

This is a collection of 10 original tracks, soothing and delicious, a couple of which my 'groupies' already know and love and most of which are BRAND NEW RELEASES. Your birthday gift will be received with so much gratitude - any proceeds will go directly towards my art and all the projects I do to support more uninhibited creative expression.

More than this, I have been constructing a little house for about a year and it all just came to fruition in the perfect time. Amidst the wild uncontrol of this process, I have practiced returning to trust over and over.

Yesterday, the front door, mattress and fridge all separately, unexpectedly arrived earlier than planned, meaning I was able to spend my first night in my new home and wake up here for my birthday morning.

My first home! Here I am.

37 is gone, with all the awkwardness of a prime number.. a year of wonder and loss - I never knew what to expect with 37.

38 on the other hand, sits squat on her haunches, stable, self contained, trusting. This is my theme for the coming year - Trust. For in a world of fear and unknown, faith can be the biggest asset we have.

I send you all blessings of steadiness and ease, grace and lightness, that you might share some of the serendipity and synchronicity that is returning to my own life right now.

It is all there waiting for us, when we trust.

Its been a while
Months re-assembling Jiya
Who is she now?
What makes her heart beat harder?
From where come the silent whispers that pull her soul?

This morning someone asked me what my medicine is that I bring to the world and it got me thinking. A great question for us all!
For those of you I dont know well, here's the lowdown -

🤍I left the UK permanently in 2009 and have been living in Central America ever since, mainly Guatemala and Costa Rica with some years in Bali

🤍I am Founder of 2 collectively owned businesses, (for whom I teach multiple per year) and (a gorgeous lakeside spa hotel)

🤍I offer multiple Retreats per year, both online and in Peru, Guatemala and Costa Rica, including:
🔘SOVEREIGN (loving self-relating for women with .rose), 🔘SACRED SPACE (ceremonial facilitation training with & .san )
🔘SOUL SONG (voice empowerment and songwriting with ) and
🔘SHAMANIC CREATIVITY (breaking down creative blockages through ceremony and artistic expression)

🤍I have my own personal coaching program, running mentorship for those seeking support to 'Be who they came here to be' - through self-sovereignty practices, creative expression, mindfulness and reprogramming techniques and voice empowerment

🤍My Jam is creative words, ceremony and song. Big things moving through the collective
How's everyone doing out there?

I'm noticing so many strong themes coming through

So many people looking around at the chaos in this world and saying...
Wait
But I trusted this
I trusted these people
I thought I was doing everything right
I thought I was free
And yet now I must let go
Let go of so much
Because sometimes, s**t happens
Sometimes we lose people we love
Sometimes the path we want to take just isn't attainable
Sometimes things happen that hurt
Sometimes the governments that hold us in their power do things that take away our freedom

I see so many people who have rollercoastered their way through 2022

And I see us challenged more than ever by what is happening in personal lives and in our world

And for myself, I am continually bringing my attention back to the lessons of this time

Warrior training
Building resilience
Reminders of our strength
Reminders of what sovereignty really means
Reminders to stop looking outwards for our happiness
Stop depending on Them to tell us what to do and how to do it and what life should look like
Stop waiting for life to get less complex
And to cultivate joy and peace anyway...
No matter what is happening externally

For me, I am reminded over and over to bring this trust into myself
To Self Source

This is a collective invitation to root into the home within us
To find the deep knowing within us
Of who we are
What our place in all of this is
What gifts our hands have to offer at this time

For this world needs all of us on board
All of us rooted
With power coming from within
Sovereign beings

Imagine a world like that!
Where we all knew our power
Our gifts
And how to freely share them

This is the world I am building

There is always contraction before expansion.

After expansion, there is always contraction.

Right now, I am a seed.

This past couple weeks, after months of inward focus, I feel the stirrings of new shoots

I know I will bloom into something something new

Something magnificent.

And I am so grateful for this hibernation, even with all its discomfort at times, for giving me the crysalis I needed to rebirth once again.

There is no need to push the outward motion before it is ready.

All is coming
in divine time.

::Rebirthing::
The pains of labor are real
Sometimes it feels like a big soup
Where everything is undefined and overwhelming
But that soup is primordial
It is what occurs before birth
Made of the exorcism of old selves
Through the cry of the heaving mama

And what I am calling in is so simple
Just that:
More simplicity.
The dissolving of some of these layers
The complexity of a life lived fully
From the expansiveness of a creative mind.

I call in the focus
The channelling of these powers
Into fewer things
Stronger things
Finished things
I call in a man
Strong and gentle
Kind and present
Passionate and inspired
Grounded and affectionate
One who meets me, fully
One who is ready to co create big things
I call in peacefulness
A nature filled life
A slow life
A beautiful, blissful steadiness
Home, within and without.

And so I meet myself in this place
The churning soup
Showing up
Plugging in
Plowing on
The only way is through
And that's where I'm going
So here I am
Ready.

Best your own best friend... one of my best mantras over the years... for how many times do we find ourselves in the opposite space, standing in the way of ourselves?

Talking ourselves down?
Numbing so we don't have to look too deeply at what we really feel? Avoiding and distracting ourselves from the true inner work of feeling and repatterning?

I am honestly exhausted of this 'spiritual' world. I just want simple. Real. And this, for me, is as simple as it gets.

Be there for yourself.
Pay attention.
Listen when your body tells you its tired.
Take time to write and cry and talk when you're down.
Cheer yourself on when you're nervous and talk yourself up when you feel small.
Choose to believe in what you're doing and why.

Simple.

Be your own best friend.
