I know how hard it is to take the time to work on your health. As a working mom myself, I understand the importance of balancing a healthy lifestyle while living a chaotic, busy lifestyle. Since it’s month, I wanted to share some things that took a long time for me to practice. 💜⁣

#1 Boundaries. Boundaries in relationships can save them and yourself. ⁣

#2 It’s OK to not be ok and get help.⁣

#3 Forgive yourself ⁣

#4 Happiness is different for everyone, don’t worry about people judging you for you picking the life that makes you happy⁣

#5 You are doing better than you think you are ⁣

Even with training all my clients, I express how much our working out is third, nutrition is second, and our mental health is number 1. 2021 has been all about recovering from 2020 for me. Didn’t even know it effected me as much as it did until this year. Onward and upward 🤍

Hiiiii 💜 I hope everyone is doing well 🥰⁣

I have not been on here quite as much. My schedule for personal training is full (which is why there isn’t a current need for advertising much) and I’ve been enjoying settling in my new house. ⁣

At some point I will be more exciting on here but I think I’ve worked really hard to get to this point in my life so I’m trying to breathe deep and enjoy it. I’m so ready for an amazing summer with the fam and this year BOTH my kiddos will be in Elementary school 😭⁣

That will definitely kick off the workaholic in me 😯😬😅 In the meantime, I’m ready for⁣

When is it time to make a change? ⠀

First off, HEALTH is not a size or weight ❌⠀

I know plenty of men/women over the years in the fitness industry that LOOK amazing and are promoting “health & wellness”. However they themselves are suffering from long term damage of a restrictive diet and not addressing mental health. The spectrum goes both ways as well. ⠀

My point here is you can’t look and SEE health or happiness. ⠀

My top fitness/health tip is to focus in on how you to feel and what your best life looks like. ⠀

For me that was having high energy to be the mom I want to be for my kids. Quality of sleep. No digestion issues. Hormones balanced out and in check. Confidence, confidence, and more confidence! Getting rid of my anxiety so I’m not afraid to go do things. My list goes on! This is what keeps me on track. ⠀

The left photo I was tired, had 2 babies, trying to help others, and just exhausted. Right photo is at a family vacation in Disneyland with no anxiety and I got to wear the dress I wanted out at a fancy dinner let alone shorts as well. ⠀

Lifestyle, schedule, and habits are key. If you think what you put inside your body and in front of your face daily isn’t affecting your health it’s time to wake up. ⠀

Do you need to work hard, yes. ⠀
Is it easier than you think, yes. ⠀
Can your exercise & nutrition be flexible, 💯💯💯.⠀

Why is it important to have a CUSTOMIZED fitness and nutrition plan for yourself for long term results⚠️
Nutrition wise, your body needs a specific amount of carbohydrates, fats, and protein to function at its healthiest. Stop doing what’s trending, you need all 3 macros not 2 🙄🤦🏻‍♀️ .
You can also have food allergies you don’t even know about. Or you could be avoiding gluten when you don’t even need to be you just heard about it.
Fitness wise, same concept. Almost every client I’ve trained has done exercise group classes or different styles which is great, but because it’s a one size fits all you are susceptible to injuries. Everyone has different muscle imbalances, posture issues, and lifestyles that your going to need something different than your neighbor.

If you are tired of things being the same sh*%, different day, CHANGE IT UP.

Workout classes are fantastic, just make sure you add in new moves and try things that make you mentally uncomfortable. It’s the best way to progress physically & mentally.

Never give up. Not to be a broken record but coming from a professional in fitness AND coming from someone who has been in that place, there are no short cuts. There are 7 days in a week and if you cheat on your diet 4 out of those 7, your results will not add up. 4 days off your diet sounds like a lot but sometimes just even taken that ONE day off can throw you completely off. One day turns into 2 then 3 and so on🤦🏻‍♀️
🔢It’s in the numbers! Be consistent with your workouts, your food, and your attitude.
It’s ok to have cheat days but there are smart ways to go about it so you don’t completely fall off track.
I have officially crushed my workouts this week. I didn’t edit out those giant bags under my eyes because well that’s part of the process right there, just my hard work showing a bit. No shame😅🤷🏻‍♀️

I often hear through out the years that people think eating healthy “gets old” or is boring.... 🤨 If that’s the case, you need to get off the bro diet. You don’t have to only eat chicken, asparagus, and rice to reach goals. There are so many healthy food options and you’d be surprised how if you are tracking your food properly, you can have a more flexible diet than you think🤔
Nutrition tip- Add more than one serving of veggies in your meals. It will help keep you full, fiber on track, and help with hitting those daily veggie goals.
