Another great opportunity to learn and engage!

Planning ahead isn’t always easy to think about, but it can change everything for the people you love.

We’re hosting a virtual conversation where we’ll talk about Terramation, what working with Return Home actually looks like, and why more families are choosing a gentler, more intentional path.

We’ll also get into something most people don’t realize until it’s too late; how end-of-life costs and medical spend-downs can impact what you leave behind.

No pressure. No sales pitch. Just real information and space to ask questions.

Free! And shorter than a movie!

Join us for a FREE 75-minute Zoom presentation and question and answer period that will show you how to plan ahead for end-of-life. We will review how to prepare and complete an Advance Directive, how to choose a Health Care Agent if you can’t speak for yourself, and what choices are legal and accessible to die on your terms in Washington State. After attending this session, we hope you’ll feel more comfortable talking to the people you trust with your care about your end-of-life wishes. Conversations that will help them know how to honor your values.

Björk has often spoken about death as something deeply connected to nature, ritual, and the cycles of life.

Her reflections on dying, grief, and cultural traditions in Iceland describe roles that are very similar to what we now call death midwives or end of life guides.

In several interviews over the years, Björk has discussed how Icelandic culture historically approached death in a more communal and spiritual way than many modern Western systems.

Björk has described death as a natural transition that should be acknowledged with care and reverence rather than avoided or hidden away. In her view, modern culture often distances people from the dying process, placing it entirely within hospitals or institutions.

Björk’s artistic work also reflects this perspective. Many of her albums explore themes of life cycles, transformation, grief, and renewal. She often frames death not as an ending but as part of a larger ecological and spiritual pattern that connects humans with the earth and with each other. In interviews she has said that acknowledging mortality can deepen people’s sense of connection to life.

Thank you for shedding light!

Had the beautiful experience of visiting Recompose, the human composting facility in Seattle today. It is so much more than it sounds. An amazing earth centric place to grieve, spend your last moments with your loved one privately or with your circle. Thoughtful AND heartfull care given in each step from receiving to ceremony to creating the compost process.
