I am so excited to be joining this incredible line-up of women, who will be sharing various insights. We all invested in ourselves and in more tools to help our clients, through the Archetypal Alchemy practitioner training over the past few years with Claire Doherty
and have integrated various elements into our lives and practices.

My session will be focused on a few of my key archetypes, which I see in many of my colleagues - ones like the Perfectionist, Inner Critic and People Pleaser and how I have developed my own sense of intuition to guide me through some big life changes (work, relationships and family) over the past few years.

💗 my dentist !As yesterday was I have.been reflecting on my oral health journey...I had no issues with my teeth and gums for most of my life.

Then I developed periodontal disease, reflected in awful oral microbiome test results, driven by perimenopausal dry mouth. I also started to fear the painful (and expensive!) treatments, denial and avoidance only made things worse (of course) and I was even at risk of losing a front tooth...

My teeth are all wonky now and I hate my smile now, but thanks to the care Victoria has shown in helping me overcome all this, halting the progression of it, I can happily still smile.

So, go get your oral health tested and sorted if you have been avoiding doing so!

🌊✨ Feeling the Fear & Doing It Anyway ✨🌊

There’s something magical about stepping out of your comfort zone—even if it’s just a toe. Recently, I’ve been embracing this through cold water swimming 🥶💧, and it’s been an incredible journey of growth and resilience.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

💡 "I Don’t Think I Can Do This"
That initial thought isn’t a stop sign. It’s an invitation. Gently leaning into fear helps us realize how capable we are.

💡 Growth Lives Outside Comfort
Stepping into the cold (literally!) has taught me that the edges of discomfort hold the most growth. Small, brave acts can ripple into greater confidence and resilience.

💡 Mental Wellbeing Thrives Here
Facing fear triggers a release of endorphins, sharpens focus, and builds emotional resilience. For me, cold water swimming has been a powerful way to feel grounded, alive, and present.

Whether it’s trying something new, having a hard conversation, or simply stepping into the unknown, embracing fear—gently—can unlock doors to a more vibrant life.

Embracing autumm and letting go...

Autumn was never a season I appreciated, beyond the back-to-school fresh start vibes of September...
It represented the slope into the darker months, which I tried to avoid, escaping through food & distraction...

Learning to embrace the seasons in nature over the past few years has helped my mental wellbeing immensely. So much so that this autumn has been a true joy - embracing the letting go of, slowing down and showing up for myself, that autumn brings.
Many more walks in nature, mindfully appreciating the autumn leaves, taking up cold water swimming in my local lake (how to feel invigourated and alive!!) and going to bed earlier have all been positive from a physical, mental and energetic perspective.
This all correlates with my menopausal journey too.

With the busy period ahead into the festive period, I am hoping to balance the extroverting with the slow in nature...

Fabulous few days in Toulon and Bandol in the South of France, to finish off my summer of fun!
30 years ago, I had the best year at L'Ecole Superieure de Commerce Toulon (Toulon Business School).
It was lovely to see my mates again and reminisce over un peu du vin et des moules frites!!🦪🍟

Shizen Nutrition and Wellbeing has been on the back-burner over the past 2 years, but after closing one work chapter, I am now able to return to it and am working hard behind the scenes on:

- Shifting towards a focus on helping women over 40 with their physical, mental and emotional wellbeing...

- Maintaining my specialist interests in gut, vaginal, hormonal and mental health, but focusing on perimenopause and menopausal stages of life...

- Incorporating more holistic coaching practices, after 2 years of further training & qualifications in Archetypal Alchemy (psychology, behavioural change coaching, somatic techniques and more) and Reiki energetic healing...

- Aiming to build community, both virtually and locally in Bromley and surrounds...

- Working on my website, new talks for autumn, new resources and hopefully a new bespoke group programme later in the year (I will also rekindle my previously popular Energise Programme at some point too!)...

- Asking you, my community, for more feedback to help me shape my services to you in the months to come.

My practice returns to Fridays (some evenings and weekends on request) with 3-month 1:1 packages now available for autumn. DM me for a chat if you want to know more...

Incredible brunch by the sea at one of my fav places - love this menu! Never thought of cashew butter with mushrooms (delish) and have always loved a hash brown, but these were next level 😋 The 🌞 even made a welcome appearance!!

Been a while since I have eaten out and meal has exceeded my expectations!
I love seafood and being by the sea in Brighton on a beautiful sunny (but chilly!) day today, I had to opt for the scallops tostada with lots of lovely salad and salsa. Definitely a meal counting towards the 30 diverse plant foods
