SOWEMA is sub-branch of Southern somali medical association SOSOMA Which is nongovernmental and nonpolitical health organization works in southern Somalia.
SOWEMA was founded by a group of young Somali medical students on may 2014 in respond to the current needs of health facilities. SOWEMA works with the local civil society and all the levels of the community by providing technical assistance towards health sector horizons and health needs for the vulnerable segments of Somali community. SOWEMA has its own written organizational standard policies an
d procedures for internal to maintain the required duties to meet the objectives and improve the collaboration with the national and international organizations as well as donors.
