Not everything is easy when you're in a relationship. Sometimes you need the time to talk about things that might be uncomfortable. It might a taboo topic or a topic that leads to emotions of shame, anxiety, rejection. It might be a bout future plans or how you even feel in the relationship at the moment.

"I love my partner and I would do anything to keep him/her". A typical phrase I hear in sessions from suffering men that can't "get it up". All the shame and guilt they feel, just because the part of their body that is evidence of their manlihood, isn't really "cooperating" with them.
One can try several approaches to resolve the problem and I'm not surprised to say that this usually goes beyond a simple explanation, just as with any intimate topic in s*xual therapy. Revealing the layers of the dynamic within the person and within the partnership is just a beautiful journey the brave take.
At this point I'd like to call you out! Tell me below what do you think makes a man, a man?

September, the s*xual health awareness month is around the corner. While I think being aware of your s*xual rights in the digital world, which is the focus of this year's topic, is important, why don't we highlight a topic a lot of women suffer from and usually are ashamed of: namely pain during s*x, otherwise called "dyspareunia" in the medical field.
Dyspareunia is common in both biological genders and several causes can be the reason for it. A couple include:
- little or no lubrication, which can occur in the natural aging process of va**na and or v***a
- irritation or inflammation, ranging from a small wall tear because of forceful pe*******on to endometriosis or an infection, like an STD.
- vaginismus (basically involuntary muscle contractions of the pelvic floor)
- a bioanatomical problem (beginning in birth or a tumor/cyst for example)
- psychological issues varying from anxiety, depression, fear of intimacy, increased stress levels, history of s*xual abuse.
