Another NAD treatment today!

It was tough during the session but I got through it much quicker and without being sick this time! My legs and abdomen paralysed initially which was really scary but felt much better afterwards- stronger and more alert. Continuing to track any improvements over the next few days!

A trip back to Leeds this weekend for my first NAD infusion with Positive IV]

I also had glutathione, vitamin D and Biotin which all have immune boosting benefits.

NAD works at the cellular level to help repair damaged DNA. The amount we produce falls dramatically as we get older - hence signs of ageing.

Scientists are excited by NAD’s benefits in disease and improving our overall health!

There are some fantastic early results for people with so I thought I should give it a go!

It took a few hours for me to have the infusion and it made me feel weak and queasy throughout- it’s as though it goes straight to where you need it!

I felt great as soon as it finished and slept much more deeply 💤

Since I have felt very alert with great mental clarity, loads of energy and much more balance in my legs!

I’m going to continue to monitor improvements with Positive IV] and set up more sessions in the coming months!

Nurse Laura has worked with patients with MS her whole career and now does the infusions full-time. She is amazing and really excited about how far we can push the improvements!

Our brain’s are so fundamental to our health and wellness. What we say to ourselves each day to what we believe in our hearts as true...or what others have told us!

Let’s learn to push the boundaries and push past our limited beliefs too...the brain is so powerful but we need the positive mindset for it to really work it’s magic.

On my reprogramming course today I learnt about 3 groups of people all needing knee operations. The surgeon wanted to test if removing the cartilage or scraping the debris out had the best results so put it to the test with a placebo group too where he cut their knees open and ‘pretended’ to treat their knees.

All 3 groups had the same level of improvement!!!! After 2 years the surgeon told them who was in which group...the placebo group could not believe it! They said but that operation changed my life - I’ve been able to run around with the grandkids again!? 😲

Throughout lockdown I started researching ‘Ayurveda’ but having followed a carb free diet for so long it took me a while to get my head round!

It made sense but I didn’t know what to do with all my other findings on keto health & fasting etc... I have since learnt that all these have a place depending on our health & our ‘Dosha’.

I spent a few months trying new foods - some that I hadn’t eaten in years & some that I have never heard of like mung beans... I leant to really listen to my body to find out what worked and didn’t work so well. With the help of the I have transformed my daily routine and eating habits and although I am very much ‘a work in progress’ I noticed some improvements immediately...like better sleep & less bloating!

I am still working out the best amount of carbs, protein & fats for me but I am enjoying trying out new foods!

I’ll share some new recipes and lifestyle choices with you soon along with any symptom improvements 💓

Made sourdough for the first time today!

Very therapeutic and smells amazing 💓

My lovely friend’s recipe; 400g of bread flour, it can be any flour combination you want. 10g of salt, 200g water & 200g sourdough starter kit. Mix together and let prove for 30 minutes. Knead bread for 10 minutes and then prove for 4 hours or overnight, heat oven at highest temperature then turn oven down to 200 and bake for 40 minutes, tap bottom of loaf, it should be quite firm. If springy, bake a little longer.

What’s your favourite veg?

We all know to eat the rainbow but I often struggle to keep it seasonal too especially when trying to eat 50 different types a week! 😳

Over the last few weeks I’ve been reading and trying to follow Dr Hyman’s protocol who focuses on low sugar/carb to support and improve health! I am now in ketosis and hopefully through my keto fly stage 🤢

I cook loads of veg for each meal and still eat a small amount of meat or eggs for protein. I spoke to my nutritionist yesterday however and she doesn’t think I’m eating enough fat!

Today is the first day where I don’t feel nauseous...so hoping I start to see improvements soon. I will keep you updated.

Yesterday I watched ‘The magic pill’ on Netflix and it was so interesting! They also used loads of coconut oil or olive oil so I’m going to try that today 🤞
