It's hard to make positive changes when you only think about the outcome.

Because it's highly probable that there's a mismatch between your current reality and where you want to be.

That's why I always encourage my clients to imagine the future of what they would like.

The thoughts, the feelings, and the actions.

From here, we can reverse engineer and take it step by step to help you become that version.

That's when it becomes second nature to achieve your goals.

Sometimes, change feels incredibly hard.

You have a busy day at work.
You feel tired.
You feel stressed.
You decide to skip your workout.

And maybe you indulge in some comfort foods.

It feels good in the moment and helps to relieve some of the tension.

But then the negative thoughts come up.
"What's wrong with me?"
"I hate myself for this."
"Why can't I stick to it?"
"I'm never going to achieve my goals."

And so on...

But this is all part of the journey.

If you "slip up", it's okay.

It doesn't undo all of your hard work.
It doesn't mean you've failed.
It doesn't mean everything is messed up.

It just means you're human.

Acknowledge yourself and what you need in that moment. If you want to enjoy a donut, do it.

And don't feel guilty.

In time, you'll find new ways to meet the same needs, and you'll continue to learn.

At that point, you'll have fewer of those thoughts and moments.

Everything is about balance.

The long game always wins.

As James Clear said, every action you take is like a vote towards the type of person you want to become.

I often recommend walking to clients as a simple way to increase daily activity, especially with weight loss goals.

But that would be an understatement if it were the only reason.

It's an incredibly beneficial form of gentle exercise that is transformative to your body, mind, and overall well-being.

You can also make it more intense based on your goals. I personally love to walk without distractions, clear my mind, think about ideas, and enjoy the scenery.

Want to transform your body and mindset? Here’s exactly how I did it. ⬇️

💪 Training: 3-5 weightlifting sessions per week, focusing on progressive overload & compound movements. Consistency was key—95% of the time, I showed up.

🍽️ Nutrition: Ate in a calorie surplus with ~1g of protein per lb of body weight. Tracked my intake when needed but focused on long-term balance.

🧠 Mindset: Some days were tough. Sore. Tired. Unmotivated. But change is hard—and the person you become through it makes it worth it.

🩺 Supplements? Not essential, but I kept it simple: Vitamin D, Magnesium, and Whey Protein.
