Success isn’t just about talent—it’s about mindset, movement, and meaningful connections.

Too often, we stand in our own way. We doubt our value, delay our dreams, and dim our light to fit into spaces that were never built for our brilliance. But growth demands more. It asks us to step out of comfort and into rooms where networking is intentional, legacy-building is non-negotiable, and failing forward is part of the strategy.

This past weekend, I had the honor of attending Pinky Cole’s Summit, and the energy was nothing short of transformational. From visionary entrepreneurs to powerhouse creatives, every conversation was a reminder that resilient leaders don’t wait for permission they show up, speak up, and build boldly.

As the founder of The P.A.M Project, which centers Black women caregivers and maternal mental wellness, this experience reaffirmed my mission. It reminded me that visibility is vital, storytelling is sacred, and leadership is a daily choice.

And what better time to lean into this work than ?

In the face of economic uncertainty and widespread job layoffs, small businesses are not just surviving they are innovating, employing, and healing communities. They are the heartbeat of our economy and the soul of our neighborhoods. Now more than ever, supporting small businesses especially those led by Black women is not just an act of kindness, it’s a commitment to equity, resilience, and collective progress.

So, I ask you .... if you're serious about your purpose, your brand, and your impact:

Are you in rooms that stretch your vision?
Are you building with people who challenge and champion you?
Are you allowing failure to fuel your next move?
Let’s stop playing small. Let’s get out of our own way.
Let’s build empires with heart, hustle, and healing.
