DO YOU TEACH THIS?
I may have been only five years old, but I remember when I was very young my parents taught me to feed our elders. I was given a plate of food that I was to march over to an elder in the neighbourhood.
I am grateful for my mom and dad for teaching me and instilling in me the charecteristics of kindness and caring for others, especcially my elders. Now me and my lady are teaching this to our children.

In a few weeks our next presentation of the Values for Success will be north of Winnipeg. The community is Poplar River First Nation on the East side of Lake Winnipeg. We will fly into Weaver lake on a a float plane. We hope to have some good traveling weather.

Imagine not seeing your friend for 58 years. This is my mom meeting her childhood friend. A Big aspect of my life Story is from my mom and her experiences in the Horden Hall Residential School that was located on Moose Factory Island. I hope they had some good heart felt talks and found a litle bit of healing together.
I am here because my strong mom survived residential school!

Based on the teachings of our mother, we learn the TRUTH she will take care of us, we learn to RESPECT her which gives us WISDOM, we make wise choices based on our respect for the truth. We show our truth by being HONEST, we show our LOVE in our actions, we look back on our choices with HUMILITY, when we act and do things out of LOVE only good things should happen. It is our COURAGE that connects the foundation values of Truth, Respect, and Wisdom from our inner to the outer values of Honesty, Love and Humility.
