Did you have these schools too? This was the Moose Fort school in my home community of Moose Factory Ontario. It was a day school. The Residetial School was called Horden Hall.

One of the happiest times I had as a child was playing hockey on an Outdoor Rink. This old picture is of our hockey rink back in Moose Factory. These moments of happiness are with us on this journey of life. A big lesson we need to learn is to forgive ourselves, for we are not perfect people, but we can always try our best to become better and better. I hope you heal from the things you don't speak about. I hope you build your circle stronger this year. I hope you grow more and more this year. I hope you have aa great year!

Today I had a day off. I made a nice fire and enjoyed the sounds it makes. Take care everyone. Next week we start planning some big events in Constance Lake, Timmins and Naskapi. I really enjoyed my time teaching at the National Survivors Gathering in Ottawa. I got to present the Values of Success Part 1 whipeI was there and also got to meet so many nice people there.

Happy Birthday to my son. He is the first to have taught me and teaches me so much about being a dad and fullfilling my role. I will continue to love you so much everyday!

So great to be here. It was an honour to present and teach the Values of Success model to follow. The survivors are warriors among us. I am grateful to have had my mom hear me speak for the first time. And to have my dad here too. And my Uncle Antoine Mountain.
There are alot of Indigenous peoples here for this national gathering and it is nice to be around them all from all the provinces of canada.

It is always great to meet up with friends while out on trips. I am happy I got to see Niigaan James Sinclair today here in Ottawa. He spoke from the heart about his dad today and about his own journey. All my best to him and his family. Take care my friend.
