From the moment I first saw Sodus Bay, I knew that I was meant to be on the water. After serving in the Navy and a few years working for the Corp world, I decided it was time to follow my passion of being in the marine industry. My goal is to provide a one of a kind experience with superior customer service that takes all the worries out of boating. You spend a lot on your waterfront homes, so let us do the heavy lifting so you can spend more time enjoying the shoreline.

As spring arrives, we are organizing our seasonal installation schedule. We anticipate launching operations within the next few weeks, pending favorable weather and ice conditions. Good afternoon! We will begin removing hoists and docks for the season starting next week. If you haven’t already, please reach out to us via phone or text to ensure you are on our schedule. The bay will begin losing depth very quickly through September!

Every year we proudly sponsor and participate in the OurNash Golf Outing Benefiting Golisano Children’s Hospital that is near and dear to our hearts (Nash is our nephew) ❤️ You can find Nash’s story on their page. He is an amazing little boy with a smile that will light up any room! His laughter is contagious! His hugs are stronger than any dinosaur hugs 🦖 He is a fighter 💪

This is an incredible golf tournament that raises money for Golisano’s Children’s Hospital and honors a new kid each year that has endured more than they ever should have to!

Who we are

American Shrink wrap was started by Matthew Hendrikse back in 2014. As an avid Boater and growing up in Sodus Point, I always had an interest in starting a busniess that invloved my passion for boating. After spending 4 year in the NAVY I’ve also always wanted to find a way to support my fellow verterans, ecspecially those who have been wounded fighting for this great country. A portion of all profits are donated to Wounded Warriors to support that very cause. I pride myself in doing better work than the “Other guys” and personally gurantee your satisfaction!
