Warmth that builds is different from warmth that burns.
Cayenne and ginger, slow-infused for 6–8 weeks, create a heat that rises gradually — the way you want to feel it on tired muscles, not the way a chemical heats your skin in 30 seconds and disappears.

That's the difference between a whole-herb infusion and everything else on the shelf.

Years before I understood the chemistry, I noticed rosemary kept showing up in my kitchen and my garden as the steady one. The plant that didn’t need fussing. The one that came back.

When I started developing the balms, I learned why: its natural antioxidants — the same compounds that make it a Mediterranean preservation herb going back centuries — protect the infused oil from oxidizing. No synthetics required.

That’s why it’s in Bug Bite, Breathe Free, and Muscle Revive. Not for one starring role. For three quiet ones.

To every mother reading this — the ones holding everything together quietly, the ones running on three hours of sleep, the ones whose work goes unseen most days —

Happy Mother’s Day 🌺

I started InVine in a Florida garden because of my own three. Every jar still begins there. Today I’m just thinking about all of you, and the quiet, daily love that keeps the world turning.

Thank you for being here.

Lemon balm smells like a lemon rind that forgot to stop being a leaf.

I cut this batch this morning before the Florida heat could pull the oils out of it. The leaves bruise if you rush, so I work in small bundles.

It’ll dry in the studio for the next several days, then steep in cold-pressed organic oil for 6–8 weeks in cool, dark conditions before it becomes part of the next round of Bug Bite Balm and Breathe Free Balm.

Lemon balm has been valued for over 2,000 years — the Greeks called it Melissa, after the honeybee. I grow it because every time I crush a leaf between my fingers, I understand why.

This is what “garden-grown” looks like before it’s a label.

There’s a difference you can feel when skincare begins with whole plants because your skin absorbs what you place on it every single day. That’s why Rose Renewal Crème was created with slow-infused whole herbs and premium botanical ingredients — nothing rushed, diluted, or synthetic.

Crafted with Florida-grown rose petals, rosemary, spearmint, organic aloe vera gel, organic apricot kernel oil, organic grapeseed oil, mango butter, beeswax, and vitamin E, this luxurious face crème delivers rich moisture with a soft, elegant finish your skin can actually feel.

✔ Deep botanical hydration
✔ Soft, velvety skin feel
✔ Lightweight protective moisture barrier
✔ Handcrafted in small batches
✔ No synthetic fragrance or unnecessary fillers

The natural aroma comes directly from the herbs themselves — subtle, fresh, and alive.

If your skin has been craving something more nourishing, grounded, and beautifully simple, this is the kind of face cream that becomes part of your daily ritual.

Small batch release now available. Link in comments to order before this batch sells out.

I thought the rose smell would be the thing that hooked me. It wasn’t — it’s the way it glides on.

The first time I worked Rose Renewal Crème into my face, I noticed it before anything else. It moves across the skin like silk, settles in without dragging, and disappears without leaving that heavy film a lot of face creams leave behind.

That texture isn’t a trick. It’s what happens when you build a crème on whole-herb infusions of rose, rosemary, and spearmint — slow-infused for 6-8 weeks into apricot kernel and grapeseed oils — with aloe vera gel for lightweight moisture and mango butter to soften everything.

Each herb earns its place. Rose has been long valued for softening and hydrating delicate skin. Rosemary is the antioxidant-rich workhorse that conditions and refreshes. Spearmint is the cool, bright lift that wakes the whole formula up.

No parabens. No synthetic fragrance. No fillers. Nothing on the label I wouldn’t put on my own children’s faces, because that’s the standard I formulate to.

Poured and capped by hand in small batches, finished with a printed label marking the batch number and infusion date.

This is where every InVine product starts.

Let me show you who grows next to who.

Rosemary in the front bed, steady year-round — it’s in all three of our balms. Lemon balm just behind it, in two of them.

Spearmint and peppermint share a corner where the morning light hits first. Turmeric is putting up new shoots in the back, and the ginger right next to it will be ready by late summer.
This morning’s post I said the ancients understood synergy long before we had a word for it.

This is what synergy looks like before it’s a balm — herbs growing in the company of other herbs, the way they’ve always been used.

Every plant you’ll see here goes into a whole-herb infusion. Slow-infused for 6-8 weeks, depending on the herb. Every one of them grown in this garden. Except black pepper.

Most “modern” skincare ingredients aren’t modern at all.

Humans have been reaching for plants longer than we’ve been writing things down.

Yarrow pollen was found with a 60,000-year-old burial. Turmeric and black pepper have been paired in Ayurvedic kitchens for thousands of years — long before anyone could explain the chemistry behind why the pairing works.

That’s the thing I keep coming back to. The plants were already in conversation with each other. We just got better at listening.

Rosemary, turmeric, lemon balm, peppermint — every herb in our balms has been used by humans for generations. Not in isolation. In combination. The ancients understood synergy long before we had a word for it.

That’s what a whole-herb infusion is. Not one extract chasing one outcome — five or six plants, slow-infused together for 6-8 weeks, depending on the herb. Lemon balm next to rosemary. Ginger next to turmeric next to cayenne. The way it’s always been done.

Every herb in our formulas is grown in our own Tallahassee garden. Except black pepper.

I’m an engineer by training. I needed the data before I trusted the tradition. The tradition was right the whole time.

Quality doesn’t happen at the end of the process. It happens at the source and at every step that follows.

Small batch isn’t a marketing phrase here. It’s the only way to keep watch over every step.

Every jar starts as a plant in our Tallahassee garden — picked at peak, by hand, on a morning chosen for that herb. Not bought dried in bulk. Not flown in from a distributor.

Grown here, harvested here, infused here.

From there, every step is managed with intention:
Dried 4 to 9 days at 76°F and 35% humidity, in the dark, with airflow over the racks. Watched daily.

Slow-infused for 6 to 8 weeks in cold-pressed organic oils — cool, dark conditions, never sunlight.

Blended with beeswax to set the balm and Vitamin E to keep the oil fresh.

Poured and capped by hand, in small batches. Never stockpiled.

This is why small batch matters. At this size, nothing moves through the process without being seen. Every harvest, every drying rack, every infusion jar, every pour — all of it stays close enough to watch carefully and adjust if something needs it.

A larger run wouldn’t allow that. This one does.

Each jar carries a printed label with its batch number and infusion date — so the herbs inside trace back to the week they came out of the garden.

Quality at the source. Care at every step.
Because every step matters.

Quality starts at the source.

That’s where big manufacturers lose.

To produce at scale, you buy dried herbs from distributors — often six to twelve months old, often from continents away. The volatile oils that make an herb worth using start fading the day it’s cut. By the time it reaches a factory floor, most of what made it potent is already gone.

Our herbs travel about twenty feet. From the garden bed to the drying room to the infusion jar. Slow-infused for 6–8 weeks depending on the herb used in the infusion, then poured and capped by hand in small batches.

Small batches, never stockpiled.

That’s not a constraint — it’s the point.

This is what turmeric looks like before the powder.

The skin peels back in thin papery strips, and underneath the color is almost neon — bright orange, alive, staining everything it touches.

Turmeric has been valued in Ayurvedic tradition for over 4,000 years. The root pairs with black pepper — one of the oldest synergistic combinations in plant herbalism, built into Muscle Revive Balm on purpose.

This rhizome is going into the next Muscle Revive infusion. Cold-pressed oil. 6–8 weeks.

The warming sensation in that jar starts here.
